Adv: A Simple Dungeon Crawl (DM: DarwinofMind Judge:renau1g)

"Wow, that is most...intriguing. I wouldn't have suspected someone like that be right under our noses. I trust you'll...deal with the matters. If you don't, we shall bring righteous fury upon them. I will see what the temple can spare for you" Stefan says, leaving you for a moment.

He comes back with a pair of healing potions and a large spear. "Here, these should aid you. Thank you for returning the body. We shall grant your party payment once you are all here" he says. The priests say a prayer over your mission and you're able to leave.

After picking the necromancer up you head back to your group without any issue...

Grigo and his stinky escort return to the cave. The spear, much too long for a gnome to carry easily, lies on the floating disk that continues to follow him. Mission accomplished. How are things here? Are we ready to fight, or do we need to rest first? We have two days if we need them, before they come looking for us.

Yimayngurr, still pacing nervously, gives a start as Grigo and his escort come striding in and break the near silence. His face breaks into a wide grin. "You're back mate! Did ya see Stefan then? And the lads delivered to him people? Thank the ancestors!"

Noticing the contents of Grigo's floating disk, Yimayngurr's gaze becomes riveted on the spear. "Say that's a mighty fine spear you got there. Them give you this at the temple? Mind if I take a closer look at it? Mmm... manymak, dhapirrk! Mighty fine work this is, for true. See how it's long-haft and broad point like fight spear, eh? But also straight and light like hunting spear. I reckon this fly just as well as a much shorter spear. Also has the touch of magic about it. Like maybe it was made by a marnggitj... beautiful..."

"Two day?!?! Do you know how many of those aberrations will fly through in that time? No, time is of the essence, each second wasted gives more of them the chance to come through and will make your task more difficult, if not impossible. I scarcely have time to show you the ritual. Which of you can handle arcane intricacies?" the necromancer asks

I placed second in my class on Aberrations and Oozes last year at Daunton Thaumaturgical. I think I can handle it. Several of us should learn it though, in case one is incapacitated or worse.

Yimayngurr catches the eye of One-Who-Waits saying, "Say, mate. You know you're way around the dream, eh? Pretty good at talkin to the ancestors? Maybe you could learn ritual, in case something happen to the little fella."

Eithal looks at the cryptic scroll and back at Grigo. She shrugs and brings her axe down from her back, "Y'all do the mayagic, an' ole Eithal'll chop theyah li'l ole hayeds off."

"Very well, let's begin, what you need to do is.... and after that, the portal should be closed, this world safe from those far realm nightmares" the necromancer says, detailing the instructions, which are listed on the scroll also. It seems like a simple enough task, although so did your initial investigation.

Is the marching order still going to be Yimayngurr, Jade, Grigo, Eithal, OWW, Psais?

Also, can everyone post their up to date stat blocks in their next post? Thanks.

Got it from here:

[sblock=ooc]Yimayngurr was previously in rear guard, he just did some scouting ahead before that encounter. The rest of the marching order is correct I think.[/sblock]
