Since nothing seems out of sorts, Nyar ventures, "Let's just go in the Battle Pitt front doors and try to find Dhon. Baern, would you mind keeping your eyes out for any secret doors? I know your keen dwarven eyes are excellent at spotting such things."

[sblock=ooc] Nice pick up CaBaNa! Anyone else have any ideas? I figured the third trip down the alley into the office might set off some alarms this time... [/sblock]

OOC: This is at everyone; now that we can communicate telepathically in character, let's try and keep as close to KD's "no OOC for IC things" guideline.

Why don't we set a trap for them this time instead? Have Dhon find us instead of the other way around. I'm really getting tired of the surprise life-and-death situations.

"I like the plan Veruza, but we can't even be sure Dhon is still here. Let's go in, as it looks closed down, and see if we can get into the office area."

[sblock=ooc] any objections? [/sblock]

"You should get in the Key Sip and have a sip of liquid. That may be less intrusive and if they want to attack they can do it there."

The group easily finds the Key Sip. With regard to the establishment, nothing appears to have changed on the outside. The goblet sign is still in place and the window still has potions and ointments behind it. However, as the team looks through the window, instead of the young girl from the day before being behind the counter, a matronly older and more plump woman is now sitting behind the counter. The group is, at the moment, standing outside.

That isn't the same girl as last time, let's hope they changed the guard over too. Veruza puts on her best smile, and stands in front of the door, waiting for it to be opened for her.

Nyar, sick of waiting, opens the door and gives an exaggerated bowing sweep with his arms.

"Ladies first."

As the party walks by, he comments, "Keep an eye out for changlings."
