There is a 30 ft drop between the edge of the rock and the lava. You do not want to fall into the lava.

You can climb the walls, if desired, to reach other areas. DC 19 Athletics. Fail 4 or less and you simply loose you're move action. Fail by 5 or more and fall.

There is a Zone of Swarming locusts in J20/L18. Enemies in zone grant CA

[sblock=ooc]The following autoed actions are based on suggestions from Ozy.[/sblock]

Ts'iri moves to get a better vantage point, covering herself in shadows as she moves. She strikes out the remaining troll, calling the full power of her curse. It falls.

Kama'zer signals quickly to Soldier who manages to move forward as she slides in to strike. She cannot find placement between the tight scales of the giant beast before her. The dragon growls in burning rage. Callen follows up with another blast of magic and the distracted dragon takes a forceful blow.

Seeing his minions felled, the dragon takes to the sky, seeming retreating. Our heroes no an opportunity when they see it and they lunge forward with their blades. This time Kama'zer is successful and her silver blade pulls away with some blood.

The Dragon's voice echoes off the walls. "You will suffer for your interference humanoids! Soon you will all be dead or conquered, for I am but a supplier for a greater power! Tonight though the village outside will burn for your interference!"

He then soars toward the top of the volcano.

[sblock=Combat Actions]

Montroya 9 vs AC, Miss
Kama'zer 32 vs AC, 10 damage
[/sblock]

Jams moves forward gazing at this secret internal forge and it doesn't take long for those captured to begin calling for help again.

"The villagers!" He says concerned. Ts'iri moves forward and begins digging through her pack for some rope.

[sblock=ooc/Important]
What happens next is up to you. Anyone who has a ranged 20 attack can get one more shot in, but unless you have a way to restrain/stun/immobilize the dragon, he switches to overland flight when he gets out of range on his turn.

If you choose to give chase, and try to save who ever you can, it will trigger a skill challenge. If you choose to take a short rest and then give chase, you will start with a penalty, but could still save some people.

Ts'iri will be staying here to help save these people, no matter what, as will Jams.[/sblock]

OOC: A small retcon, if you please... ;)

Kama'zer feels her blade bite into flesh as the dragon tries to flee and with a surge of mental energy she forces her sword to tear open the fabric of reality itself. One drop of the dragon's blood is sucked into the small opening and the rest soon follows as the opening expands. With a flash and a pop of displaced air, the dragon disappears into a private demi-plane... for a time.

"It could reappear at any second! Make ready your attacks for when it returns!!" Kama'zer shouts to all the others, calling Jarel-karn back just as he was getting ready to give chase. Just as she finishes this warning, the dragon reappears where it had just been with another pop of air. "Welcome back!" Kama'zer shouts at the dragon. "We're not through with you yet!" she yells as she runs around its flank to strike at it from behind. Sadly, she fails to connect once more, only providing a small bit of inspiration to the team. She tries to hit it yet again, but still can't pierce its scaly hide.

[sblock=Actions/Stat block]Free action= Activate Githyanki Silver Sword Foe Banishing power when Kama'zer hit with the OA as it tried to move away.

It probably still gets to make its first save at the end of that turn, but then its turn will be over and it will be stuck here again for another round of attacks by us! And if it doesn't make that save the first time then we get to move into position to surround it and ready actions for a round. How about if I just roll its saving throw against the Foe Banishing here myself? If there is some bonus it was supposed to get that would make a difference, the DM can correct and retcon as needed. save vs. Foe Banishing (1d20=17)
Made its saving throw. :rant: So it reappears where it was, but its turn is now over. Our turn!

Going to try to hit it with my Lead the Attack power to increase our hit chances on it. Wish I could get flanking on this sucker for this attack. I can. I'll risk the OA to get opposite of Montroya from it to J18

Start= 26/51 hp;

Minor= Kama'zer Inspiring Word on herself (2d6+12=19) heals from 26 to 45 hp.

Move= to J18, opening myself up for an OA that DM will have to roll.

Missed with Lead the Attack. :.-( Everyone withing 5 squares of Kama'zer now gets a +1 to attack the dragon till end of encounter.

Action Point=Standard Action= Steel Monsoon vs. Dragon AC27 (1d20+13+2+1=24, 2d8+6=14)Still missed!

End= 45/51 hp or less depending on OA.

I would like to see what happen with the AoO (both ours and the dragon on Kama'zer) before acting.[/SBLOCK]
