-''And I bet you are thinking the fight is going your way, right?'' says Hadrak, unfazed by the Vortex that dragged him back next to swordmage.

Hadrak performs a quick blessing and then divive radiance washes over the battlefield. In a moment, every one is fighting fit.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Please note that, the Warden, being an NPC, have only 1 Healing Surge, so even healer's mercy won't help him, as he has no HS to spend to take advantage of it.[/SBLOCK]

OOC: I am pretty sure he used to be run as if he was another PC. He would have needed an extended rest after every single encounter otherwise... But if he isn't as powerful as the rest of us, he damn welll better not factor as a full additional PC when we divide XP!

Also, I would not have wasted Bastion of Health on the Warden had I known he had only one surge. I'd have let him use his own Second Wind instead. It's litterally a net loss for the team: Collectively we have access to 6 second wind, 2 healing word, 1 Healer's mercy 1 Bastion of Health for healing purpose in one encounter. So if the warden has only 1 Healing Surge, if I use a healing word on him, I've just cost our collective healing ressources one healing word AND one second Wind that has now become unusable.

In other words, I will never heal the warden again (Unless I catch him in a healer's mercy for free). It's silly, but that's that.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I'll look up to now how the Warden have been played in combat, but the stats that I have been given are clearly a custom made "Monster" and not a PC. Also, being a "Monster", he get no Second Wind, so he would need your power to use his HS.

And I never planned to give him XP either.[/SBLOCK]

OOC: We should be able to check the second and third fights to see how the Warden was treated. If he is a companion character from the DMG2, he has surges.

OOC: I use too much the compendium that I wasn't aware of that DMG2 rules supplement about the companion. I'll take a look at it ASAP, which mean once I get my hand on a copy of the DMG2. I think Mal has one...

Incarnation gathers the flame as the dragonborn perish, turning it against the genasi warrior. He attempts to bind it with the dark magic again. This time, they hold tight, lifting the warrior off the ground. [sblock=OOC]As Incarnation was not hit, he uses his THP to regain Infernal Moon Curse when he missed. Remember, the genasi takes 2 hp just for attacking Incarnation (even when missed).

When Dragonborn 3 drops, the genasi takes 5 fire damage from pact boon. Incarnation gains 4 thp.

Reuse Infernal Moon Curse on the genasi: Hit Fort 25, 20 dmg. Immobilized and lift 5' off ground TENT Incarnation. Shift to H5.[/sblock][sblock=Incarnation]Incarnation—Male Warforged Infernal Warlock 8
