Incarnation ponders the paths before them. The road or the trail. Neither are strong. But perhaps I know something that may help.[sblock=OOC]Attempt to use History to assist: Try to determine what the Jadite common response to trailing folks/traitors in similar situations to try to give ourselves an edge. If allowed, roll is History [/sblock]

"I agree, staying away from the main road would be to our advantage." As the party moves into the wilderness Raiyek falls back as a rear guard, keeping a wary eye open for pursuit.
[sblock=OOC]What kind of terrain are we in? You mentioned a mountain, is it wooded as well? Would we be traveling along the edge of the mountains to get to the portal, or have to go through a mountain range?

Perception (1d20+13=16)

What do you guys want to do about the Warden's sword? If I'm not mistaken, Raiyek is the only one who can use bastard swords, but the power isn't of any use to him ... and I'm not sure how we should treat it, if we're planning to resurrect the Warden.[/sblock]

The group choose to go off the road, which will take more time but bring less attention. The team continue to plan their trip, waiting for Rurdev. Raiyek climb on an hill and see a forest and suggest to walk through it, but Incarnation suggest not. He remember the forest was the home of some hostile spirits. Staying at the edge would be wiser. And with Georg ability to get direction from the star, the group could travel quickly.

[SBLOCK=OOC]The mountains are to the north, the portal to the south. You escape to the mountain to loose the guards, but you'll need to go south. There is a village not far surrounded by fields, but farther from teh village, there is a forest too.

Not da . . . ale, Dane says in a hushed tone, bewildered at the notion that Hadrak's beloved ale is no longer with them.

Rurdev decides to go scouting. The group travel, lead by Dane. Being in his environment, he got no problem to find a safe route toward the forest edge. As the group travel through the border of the forest, Hadrak starts to desperate. His throat is dry and have no more ale and his complain seems to attract the attention of some farmer the group had not spotted before it is too late. The group continue to travel, hoping the farmer will not report them.
