[Adventure] A Boy and His Dog (DM: stonegod; Judge: r1)

Elkrysn shakes his head as the bullywug enters yet another perilous situation. After enveloping the strange tentacled lizard-thing in darkness, he gestures upwards as ice creeps up from the sewer water to envelop its orb-like presence, weakening its reflexes.

Johanna continued to push her way forward, shouldering her way past the goliath to stand beside the fallen monk. She lashed out with her spear again, this time stabbing at the deformed lizard.

>Standard: Attack M1 with Howl of Fury, +8 vs. AC= 19; if that hits, deals 5 damage to M1, then Howl (close blast 3 including M1 and S2, deals 3 thunder to S2 +swarm vulnerability); roll

Lhavarr speaks an arcane word, the sounds of the swamp echoes in the ears of Sapo. The buzzing of bugs and the croak of frogs draw the monk closer to him, breaking the grip of the lizard thing. Lhavarr's feet were still felt heavy, but the half-elf made his move, practically dragging them through the water, first away from the swarm, and then close to it.

The half-elf speaks a jumble of arcane syllables again and slashes at the deformed lizard with his large blade. The weapons pierces the creature's scales and a vibration shakes the blade, and several scales loose. "Strike at tha thing with your weapons!"

[sblock=Actions]
Minor: Majestic word upon Sapo. Sapo can spend a healing surge and regain an additional 4 hp. The monk is also slid to E4.
Move: Move to E5 then F4.
Standard: Guiding Strike vs M1: Guiding strike vs M1 (1d20+7=26, 1d10+4=10) 10 damage and it takes a -2 to AC until the end of my next turn. If M1 is down, I'll attack S2.
Save: save vs slow/CA (1d20=7)Fail.[/sblock]

"Weapons are for chums, dear." The smug sorceress says to Lhavarr as she slams her foot into the ground, sending a magical shockwave under her allies and right to the creature, slaming into it was a thunderous boom!

OOC: Attacking M1 with storm walk, unless it's a super badass, I say I hit vs fort.

1d20+5=24

I do 15 thunder damage.

1d8+8=15

[sblock= OOC] Voda Vosa posted a thread in Talking the Talk yesterday, saying he would be away for the week- hoped to be back by next weekend, characters should be NPCed. [/sblock]

A Fight in the Muck: Round 2

Stepping forward, Vimak slams his hammer into the muck. Fire erupts around him, but while the lizards duck underneath the blast, the gazer is hit full on. At the same time, the fire closes some of the bullywug's wounds. [Miss S2, hit M1]

The bullywug struggles against the tentacle about it, but cannot free herself. The swarm of lizards overrun her, bitting painfully, but the protection of her companions negate the worse of it. She attempts to bash at the enemies around her, but her strikes are limited by her restraints. [Attack misses.]

From the back, Elkrysn twists his hands and darkness and ice reach out to the aberrant lizard. It screams in a painful wail that pierces the mind, but when the spell is done, it lies is a huddled heap, unmoving. The tentacle releases Sapo. [Hit, killed.]

[I'll pause to let pathfinder1 rejigger Johanna's attack]

[/sblock]Moving from sewer to land and vice-versa costs and extra square. The barrel provides cover. Currently, most of the party is in a pipe; you must move to E4/5 before moving elsewhere in the room; when Torqua does this, the rest of the room will be illuminated. Until then, the room (except for the center pillar) is dark (concealment).

(Revised)

Johanna shifted her feet just a bit, getting used to the slick footing of the tunnel. Then she surged forward through the muck, making her way into spear range of one of the spitting lizards- she gave a final deep shout as she lashed out...

OOC:
>Move: shift forward 1 square
>Standard: Charge to J3, attack L1 with Howling Strike; (If she can keep her previous attack roll, that hits AC 18: 19 rolled +1 charge -2 concealment), otherwise +7 vs. AC= 12 (miss?); damage would be 11 (only if using initial roll- new attack would miss); rolls Roll Lookup
