Fissure keeps to the rear, his calm presence unperturbed by Ghorgor's constant pauses. Every time the other goliath thought he say a bird, Fissure would let him know if it really was a bird or a knot of branches. Or a piece or torn cloth. Or a cloud. Or nothing really at all.

And this is why you don't pick on a kobold ;)

The group is debating on what to do when Ghorgor and J'yri see at least a half-dozen kobolds move out from behind a group of trees up ahead. With them is the kobold that you assaulted in the marketplace.

"Yeah, you were all big and tough when it was just me, but like you said us kobolds is all friends and now we outnumber you bigguns. We'll cut you down to size" he says, full of spit and gristle, as the creatures all draw long knives, except he pulls out a glaive.

From the flanks another two groups move out of the forest, but both Nejs and Willow react with lightning speed, somehow sensing the ambush. Ghorgor was still focused on figuring out the kobold's steps that it took him an extra second to react.

Ok, so we'll use Mal's rules again, seemed to work out ok. A few points though, you can only benefit from a TENT effect once. i.e. if Nejs grants a bonus that lasts TENT and gos first in round 1, he can't delay to be last in round 2 to make sure everyone gets two rounds of benefits from it. Cool?

If you move, please make sure you list what path you take. i.e. if Nejs wanted to move to F3 he should put Move: To F3 (G-1 > G0 > G1 > G2 > F3).

Willow makes her way toward the monologuing kobold. As she get closer, her frail form seems to disintegrate into a dark colored mist. It only takes a second to realize, however, that it is no mist at all, but a swarm of chitinous locusts on a direct path toward the group of kobolds and its leader!

[sblock=Actions]Move from F2, G3>G4>G5>F6>D7>D8
Minor: Wild shape into locust swarm
Standard: Swarming Locusts (Close blast 3 effects B9: D11) vs. Glaive, K91 hits REFLEX 14, 23 for 9 damage.

The blast creates a zone of swarming locusts that lasts until the end of Willow's next turn. While within the zone, enemies grant combat advantage.

Note: While in her beast form, Damage to Willow is reduced by her constitution modifier (1).

The enemies haven't gone yet as WD will need to post an adjusted standard action now [/sblock]

Willow makes her way toward the monologuing kobold. As she get closer, her frail form seems to disintegrate into a dark colored mist. It only takes a second to realize, however, that it is no mist at all, but a swarm of chitinous locusts on a direct path toward the group of kobolds and its leader!

The kobolds try unsuccessfully to swat away the bugs, managing to stab each other a few times though.

Both hit [/sblock]

Nejs moves into position and tries his new weapon on the one foe he can reach. Unfortunately for the half-elf, he didn't see that the spot he moved into was actually just a light net, covered in leaves, and as he steps into it, there's no time to catch himself.

vs ref (1d20+4=20, 1d10=5) You're prone and take 5 damage. [/sblock]

Please read the OOC text first. It specifically asked you to post which squares you were moving through. You however still have your standard action left. Athletics DC 15 to climb out, once you can stand up [/sblock]

The group of kobolds in front of the pit laugh at the tall one's fall, but then move towards the seemingly vulnerable Calisto. One of them jumps onto her back, another stabs at the back of her knees and the tiefling collapses under their assault. They attempt to kick and bite the fallen adventurer while she's down, but to no avail as she manages to deflect their attacks.

The apparent leader decides to stop swatting at the locusts for a moment and with calls out "Ignore their bites, c'mon and go get the bigguns!" as he stabs his weapon outwards and the force of the blow sends Willow stumbling.

The kobolds rush forth, like a dam breaking and one jumps onto each of Ghorgor's arms, a pair grab onto J'yri's legs, and a few try to slam into the large warriors, but they hold their ground. Unfortunately, Willow's not quite as lucky as the kobolds begin picking up various large pieces of branches and swatting the bugs down to the earth and then rush forward and begins stomping on the forms.

As the warriors are battling the kobolds in front, another group circles from behind and begin launching themselves up the dragonborn and goliath, attempting to scale the tall humanoids like mountains. Finally, J'yri succumbs to their assault and falls prone, the smaller foes scuttling out of his way as he falls. The dragonborn manages to swat the foes off him as they attempt to stab at any vulnerable spots on him.

Kobolds 35 - move to H3 (J5 > I4 > H3) and have concealment from the trees. They attack Calisto with Overwhelm Surge. vs fort; dmg (1d20+6=23, 1d8+4=10) hitting for 10 and knocking her prone. Minor: Swarm the Fallen - vs ac; dmg (1d20+12=15, 1d10+5=7) miss. recharge (overwhelm, fallen) (1d6=4, 1d6=4) fails to recharge both.

Glaive - Uses Warding Strike on Willow - vs fort; dmg (1d20+5=22, 1d10+3=8) hits for 7 and pushes 1. He then moves 1 to the buses, gaining concealment.

Minor: swarm the fallen - vs ac (willow); dmg (1d20+12=21, 1d10+3=6) so Willow's hit again for 5 - recharge (overhwelm, fallen) (1d6=1, 1d6=5) recharged swarm the fallen

kobolds 32 move to D4 (B3 > C3 > D4), use overwhelm strike - vs fort (ghorgor; J'yri); dmg (1d20+8=15, 1d20+6=23, 1d8+4=8) miss Ghorgor, but hit J'yri for 8 & knocked prone.
