[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

OOC: Are the patch of wood difficult terrains or obstacle? I hope the former. It's a rare tree trunk that has a diameter of 5 feet! I am expecting this are more like bushes. It's important for my next move (You can cut accross in diagonal of a difficult terrain but not an obstacle)

As Fracture assaults the sahuaguin, Eryto and Orthos use the distraction to surround the creature and strike as soon as it is knocked to the deck. As Orthos laughs and picks at any openings provided, Eryto rains a torrent of vicious blows upon the fish-man, a manic glint in his eyes.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Orthos moves to W6, Eryto shifts to W8. Minor: Place Hunter's Quarry on S3. Standard: Twin Strike on S3, with +2 to hit from CA, +2 to damage from Pack Attack. 1st attack - 1d20+11=18 vs. AC, 2d4+4=8 damage; 2nd attack - 1d20+11=19 vs. AC, 2d4+4=10 damage. Free Action: Apply Hunter's Quarry damage if I hit at least once - 1d6=5 damage. So a max of 23 damage if all attacks hit.[/sblock]

Fracture is nearly unhittable.

When combat begins, the dull look on Fracture's face vanishes. It was if a flicker of light suddenly flared within what was once a goliath. His moves are fluid, done without thought, at a speed with belies his former lethargy.

Fracture slips beside the gnoll and with a heavy thump, slams his staff into the boat causing it to rock. It appears as if it will overwhelm one of the enemies before them. As it clambers aboard to escape, Fracture whips out his staff at its knees, causing it to fall; he follows up with a quick rap to the back of its head, keeping it off balance.

The creature is torn up by the assault, but still standing, well sitting.

The closest Sahuagin's climb onto the ship, one stabbing Willow, the other missing Fracture as the undead kicks aside the trident. The injured one stands and catches Eryto with a pierce of his weapon.

The priests focus on bringing down the giant Fracture, but their illusions have no effect on the alien mind of the revenant.

The large Sahuagin moves forward, his claws fracntically trying to grasp the quick-footed Fracture, but the monk spins, jumps, and parries his attacker's hands away. Finally, the creature manages to cause a minor wound with his own large trident.

As the foes surround him, Fracture seems nonplussed. He fights without thought or fear. Casually, he brings down his staff hard on the wounded fish-man's "legs", crushing it to keep it down. His staff spins to hit his ally in the chest, knocking the wind from its scaly chest. Then, with a burst of speed, Fracture spins again, striking out twice more before slipping away. [sblock=OOC]Swift River Flood vs S3: Ref 16 (assuming hit), 22 damage and slowed TENT. Flurry vs S1 for 7 hp and no OA TENT. If S3 still up, burn AP to use Five Storms vs S1 & S3: Miss S1, Hit S3 for 8 more. In any case, shift away to X6.[/sblock][sblock=Fissure]Fracture—Male Revenant Iron Soul Monk 3

-''You no fear! Ghorgor is here! Hey, it be rhyme...''

Ghorgor takes a running start and then leaps accross the water, falling just short of the boat and producing a huge splash that wets everyone in a large radius. Before anyone has time to worries, his huge hands emerges from the water and he hoists himself onto the boat, rocking it noticeably.

-''So... How good Ghorgor is? Is Very, right?''

Move + Standard Actions : Double Move (10 square), Ghorgor's shield isn't readied.

Move to AF6 (3 squares) then Jump

Athletic Jump (2 checks, Goliath talent) (1d20+11=27, 1d20+11=20)

27 carries Ghorgor 5 squares (total of 8) to AA6

Swim (1d20+11=31)

That should cover the last square. That leaves me either at Z6 (hanging to railings) or Y6.

Minor: Readies Shield.

Weapon still isn't drawn, btw.

[MENTION=834]Mal Malenkirk[/MENTION] - equipping a shield is a standard action unfortunately. You can draw your weapon as a minor though?[/sblock]

ooc - I'll let you have drawn it beforehand. With your high athletics + double rolls you had a ridiculously high chance of making it even with the penalty.
