[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

Willow's cold eyes lock upon the evil sea creature, and even as it continues its assault upon her one would think she finally found a smile as one lone beetle escapes from between her cracked lips. Another comes as she opens her mouth wider, then another. Soon the sahaugin is covered in the tiny beetles as Willow's elven form completely dissolves into the swarm of writing insects, pincing and biting and tearing at her foe.

[sblock]Minor: Wild Shape into beast form
Standard: Savage Rend
-vs. S2; hits REF 15 for 12 damage, slide S2 1 square to Z5

[SBLOCK=OOC]Leonard, not Lenard... that's another player I think. Another Sheeva and Shava case I think.

How am I suppose to heal now? Why I didn't thought about it. [/SBLOCK]

Leonard, from his point of hiding, target the creature fighting Fracture and hit him and then move aside behind the bush, trying to hide again.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Standard: Midirected Mark vs Refl on S1 (1d20+6=23, 1d8+5=12) Hit for 12 damage and S1 is marked by Ronen...
Move: Shift to AG 17 => Stealth (1d20+4=22)[/SBLOCK]

As his quarry drops, Eryto immediately readies to attack another sahuaguin, his bloodlust left unsatisfied. Seeing an opportunity when Willow knocks one of the monsters off the deck, he commands Orthos to attack from the water, only to realize his hyena has only the barest swimming ability. "Accursed mutt - we will not be denied!" the gnoll growls in frustration. Seeing another opening, he switches to the other sahuaguin and attacks furiously... managing to whiff every strike. He howls in frustration.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Orthos moves to AA6 (X7->Y7->Z7->AA6) - Athletics check = 1d20+3=9 (so I assume he only moves to Z7 and treads water?), Eryto moves to X9. Minor: Hunter's Quarry on S1. Standard: Twin Strike on S1, +2 to hit from CA - 1st attack - 1d20+11=14 vs. AC, 2d4+2=8 damage; 2nd attack - 1d20+11=17 vs. AC, 2d4+2=6 damage. Both miss, great.[/sblock]

As the foes surround him, Fracture seems nonplussed. He fights without thought or fear. Casually, he brings down his staff hard on the wounded fish-man's "legs", crushing it to keep it down. His staff spins to hit his ally in the chest, knocking the wind from its scaly chest. Then, with a burst of speed, Fracture spins again, striking out twice more before slipping away.

-''You no fear! Ghorgor is here! Hey, it be rhyme...''

Ghorgor takes a running start and then leaps accross the water, falling just short of the boat and producing a huge splash that wets everyone in a large radius. Before anyone has time to worries, his huge hands emerges from the water and he hoists himself onto the boat, rocking it noticeably.

-''So... How good Ghorgor is? Is Very, right?''

Willow's cold eyes lock upon the evil sea creature, and even as it continues its assault upon her one would think she finally found a smile as one lone beetle escapes from between her cracked lips. Another comes as she opens her mouth wider, then another. Soon the sahaugin is covered in the tiny beetles as Willow's elven form completely dissolves into the swarm of writing insects, pincing and biting and tearing at her foe, sending him into the water. As it lands Ghorgor is splashed by the water.

Ronen seems to conjure a horde of tiny... things... that assault the last enemy on the boat and the bigger creature with tails, pincers and hammers. The large foe ignores the illusory creatures, but the smaller sahaguin falls victim.

@walkingdad - can you put the results of your roller in your post (see stonegod's for example)? I can't tell what you rolled when I "quote" you to do the combat post. Can you also list special effects of powers and damage type? In this case psychic doesn't change things, but the inability to do OA's is pretty big. [/sblock]

The sahaguin retaliate with a vengeance, the smaller one wounding Eryto, the scent of blood fills the air. The other male attacks Ghorgor, to no avail.

The priestess' split up, this time their spectral shark jaws work and Ronen and Fracture feel the sting in their minds.

The large enemy draws closer to the boat, the blood scent driving all caution to the wind and it stabs Fracture with its trident, nearly dropping the giant. The claws flail harmlessly as it swings wildly.

Ghorgor steps on the boat. His 'powerful mind' reach out to his enemies and command their attention.

-''Hey, big Tunas, Attack Ghorgor if Dare you!'' shouts the Goliath, unaware of the irony of using 'fishes' insults from within a 'tin can'.

Thanks for the shield, R.

Move: Shift 1 square North (Y6). If I can't shift in my situation, I will move and tale the OA (Remember Battle Resilience is still active until the end of the turn so I have resist 5 against it).

One hit from a sahuaguin slips through Eryto's flailing attacks and strikes him across the face. Refocusing, the gnoll sees the fish that hit him smirk, if such a thing is even possible. His expression of pure rage calms for a moment, as he signals his pet to move back onto the deck, not caring for the hyena's health as it moves through the melee. "Sad to say, we could not arrange a proper wake," purrs the gnoll to his uncomprehending opponent. "But the two of us will do an excellent job of laying you to rest!" At this, Eryto roars and strikes with such furious futility that he actually manages to land a few blows.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Orthos moves to Y7 (like Ghorgor, shifts if possible, otherwise takes the OA) Athletics - 1d20+3=19; Eryto shifts to W9. Standard: Twin Strike vs. S1, +2 to hit from CA, +2 to damage from Blood Fury. 1st attack: 1d20+11=16 vs. AC, 2d4+4=12 damage; 2nd attack: 1d20+11=18 vs. AC, 2d4+4=10 damage (so 1 hit, 10 damage). Free Action: Hunter's Quarry damage: 1d6=1 damage. Minor: Off-hand Strike vs. S1: 1d20+11=14 vs. AC, 2d4+8=12 damage. Action Point: Twin Strike vs. S1. 1st attack: 1d20+11=12 vs. AC, 2d4+4=7 damage; 2nd attack: 1d20+11=21 vs. AC, 2d4+4=7 damage. So a total of 18 damage.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! Not one attack roll that was greater than 10 out of 7 rolls (including last turn)! If this keeps up, I'm seriously considering just giving up and rerolling an avenger.[/sblock]
