[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

[sblock=OOC]Fissure jumped up the stairs, past the ghoul. He then climbed up and attacked something that is hidden. The issue is that I wrote D13 instead of D15 (no reason to climb to D13 as its in our level).

Ghoul is still where it started.[/sblock]

J'ryi moves to protect Willow from a lower position on the stairs. He attempts to restrain the nearby ghoul but is thwarted by the awkward angle of his attack - he fails to do more than draw its attention.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Move to E14. Standard: Grappling Strike on G2; 1d20+7=9 vs. AC, 1d10+5=11 damage. The Ghoul is marked, regardless.[/sblock]

"There is someone to the left of the stairs, and one behind us too." warns Calisto. "Remeber, we need one of those ghoul alive."

As it is dark, her robe starts to shed some light.

She stays near the wall and decide to attack the Ghoul near J'ryi, sending a wave of despair to the ghoul

Fissure frowns at the strange turn to the Stone. It was Stone but not; here and not here. Perhaps Master Stoneheart knew of this strange Stoneness, but not Fissure.

Hearing the hiss of the dragonborn, Fissure instinctively assumed his battle position. A slight tremble on the ground informed him of things unseen. They there; the monk pointed near the top of the stairs and somewhere behind them. Without pausing, he leaps into the air halfway up the stair then pulls himself the rest of the way and attacks what was in the shadows.

Heeding his allies' warnings, Nejs moves to the single enemy he sees and stbs with his spear. But his aim isn't nearly accurate enough to hit the undead thing.

Willow makes toward the dragonborn.

J'ryi moves to protect Willow from a lower position on the stairs. He attempts to restrain the nearby ghoul but is thwarted by the awkward angle of his attack - he fails to do more than draw its attention.

The dragonborn laughs as the elf moves towards him, "Come, this shall be fun" he gloats, advancing towards the druid. The air grows bitterly cold and a wind seems to wrap around Willow and draw her towards the dragonborn. He slashes a deep blow to her chest, his claws sinking deep and he picks up the light elf and pulls her in close. His sharp teeth tear into her exposed neck and the dragonborn tosses her to the ground. He turns back to the adventurer's "Pity, not as sweet as I was told" he laughs, red lifeblood dripping down his maw, freezing from the intense cold.

The gargoyle, which Fissure knocked back, flies forward, his flight disorienting both the goliath and J'yri, but his flailing blows are easily dodged.

The ghasts counterattack, the closest to J'yri slashes with his claws, one causing a minor wound on the dragonborn. The other lunges forward with surprising speed and bites Nejs' shoulder, toxins flowing into the half-elf's system and holding him in place.

The humanoid figure moves through the shadows, some seeing it, others not.

Seeing Willow in trouble, Fissure slides along the stonework behind the dragonborn. Ignoring the cold for now, he straightens his feet then lashes out with a series of blows at the unharmed dragonborn, attempting to use its confidence against it.[sblock=OOC]Did the hidden dude hide again (i.e., does Fissure need another perception check? [sblock=Perception Question]
Only those who didn't spot him originally need to. There's no superior cover to obtain stealth, but there's enough cover to retain stealth against those who haven't spotted him. I believe this is how stealth rules work. Man I hate them almost as much as polymorph from 3.xe [/sblock]

Nejs Ragan, Half-Elf Ardent 2

"J'riy, swap!" Nejs calls, his mind piercing the space between himself and the fighter, allowing them to swap positions. Slightly disoriented, Nejs misses with the attack on the ghul, but succeeds at his main-task... coming near enough to Willow to give her the strength to overcome her wounds.

Move: Dimension Swap with J'ryi to E14
Standard: Energizing Strike (Augment 1) (1d20+9=10, 1d10+5=7) the second 1
Minor: Ardent Surge (1d6=3) on Willow. She regains 3 HP extra.
