[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

Willow saw the ghast drooling over Calisto’s limp body, and the memories came flooding back.

A dark cloud hung over the grove, blackening the sky beneath a midday sun. The mindless undead lumbered in from all directions, clawing a grabbing at anyone who tried to run past. The treetops seemed to be made of bone as the animated skeletons moved through them, slashing at the elves seeking refuge within. Leaves and branches were hacked away, fallen to the forest floor under a torrent of elvish blood raining from the bodies draped over the barren limbs. And then Willow did the unthinkable…

Her swarm roiled through the fallen bodies of her new friends—her new dead friends—toward the portal, where she shifted back to her elven state.

“We cannot win this, Ghorgor. Live to fight again! Run!”

She didn’t wait.

Double move to run to and through the portal, avoid OAs as necessary. Wild shape for cinematic effect.

Calisto see a black world around her. In face of her, a large and ugly creature.

"You are a pathetic weakling. You'll die. And I'll return to my world." tells the Oni trap inside her.

The elf's decision was wise as the explosion of cold saps the remaining life from Fissure and Nejs, also catching Ghorgor finally. One of the dragonborn's claws causes a gash in the goliath's shoulder.

The ghast recovers and this time it makes no mistake, it feasts on the fallen tiefling...

[sblock=Immediate Interrupt]As annunced OOC, Ghorgor activates Endure Pain and gains Resist 10 all until the end of his next turn.

Therefore he took 3 damage from blast and 3 more from clawm total of 6.

31 + 1 / 46

Ghorgor hardens his body and takes the onslaught little worse for the wear. But he looks around and realize he is the only one.

-''You should all have studied Ghorgor method. For ten easy payment, you be still healthy and alive, now... Wait for me, Tree lady! Ghorgor no stay!''

He struggles against a temporary stiffening of his limbs caused by the cold and hustles forward. He endures more claws attack from the dragonman, snatch a ghoul on the floor and moves toward the Portal.

[sblock=Actions]
Move:
Standard: Pick up ghoul body and shoulder him (drop non magical nearly worthless warhammer to do it)
AP: Second Wind

42+1/46, +2 Defenses

I am slowed and can't exit even with 3 moves (max 2 per move). Might as well try to get the ghoul!

EDIT: Uh, I am not too sure whether or not I can exit by moving 6 square; if it is possible, that's what I'd rather do. Don't want to get immbilized by the ghoul!

Nejs Ragan, Half-Elf Ardent 2

Nejs dies finally, the prophecy unfullfilled. But fate will choose a new champion...

[sblock=ooc (please everyone read)]
It was a nice game as long as it lasted... and I would like to continue! :)

What are the plans of the others for new characters (combat roles mostly)?

I would like to change my combat role, if possible, and have a nice idea for a wizard, either deva or genasi.

renau1g, covaithe, did Nejs earn enough XP for 3rd level before dying?

[SBLOCK=OOC]I was hesitating between a Striker (Barbarian/Sorcerer) and a Leader (Bard). As a leader is essential, I'll go with the Bard.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=ooc]
I just adjusted your xp for the non-defeat of the DB and the Ghast so you'll get about 2k xp which will be enough to level up to 3rd [/sblock]
