Tondrek sticks his tongue out to Scary Man and Not Quite Pointy Elf Lady. No be mean. Scaly men mean. We team. He grins at the rhyme.

He nods at Rhona's words, but points to the captives. Anyone speak barky-bark? Maybe ask them about prisoners or what down hole after rest? Some can play..., he puts his finger on his mouth as if remembering something, Bad Watchman, Worse Watchman, right?

OOC: I assume you mean short rest, Vertexx? I think we are having one now.

"Yes, I suppose you would. I suppose I should take you're comment to mean you're just a bit to cowardly to engage directly as requested then." She takes a but of cloth from her bag and begins cleaning her dagger. "By all means go and jump down the hole if it would make you feel more comfortable. I'm with Rohna though, and think a couple more minutes up here would be wise."

Shava smiles a bit smugly. "Anyone else interested in the belt?"

"You can call it cowardly, I call it smart. I will leave that to our goliath friend to take the battle to the enemy. I am more effective being somewhat away from the enemies, but very well, you wish a challenge half-elf. I will demonstrate that I can do what I need to do from any range." Tamarand replies, then turns to Tondrek

"'Fraid I don't speak ,uh, barky bark, but I bet I can get my meaning across with these" the drow says, grinning as his hands stroke the hilts of his blades. "However, I also don't mind scouting ahead. I can see in the dark and stay out of sight" he adds

Sorry, jumped ahead last post, thinking we'd got past the short rest.

FYI - changes for Tamarand - learned Thunder Leap as my power, gained 5 hp, and retrained Acid Orb out for Burning Spray

Evo - for T's parcel I was hoping for the n level of gold... how would we handle that? At adventure's end, would it be best to have a separate award for T?

[sblock=ooc]Apologies for the delay in posting...

Roswyn will spend one surge during the rest, bringing her to 33/35 hp, 3/7 surges.

I'm also wondering if we should level up immediately. Of course I would like to, but it would certainly be cleaner if we waited until an extended rest... but I guess extended rest is not in the cards right now. If we do level up immediately, I guess we need to know if we gain immediate access to new powers, and how to handle the HP increase.[/sblock]

When Tondrek revives Shava, the gnome flings her arms around her, oblivious to the nasty remedy smeared across her chest. "Shava! I was worried for you!" She stands and gives Tondrek a quick hug as well, reaching up to grasp his waist. "Tondrek, you are wonderful. I think we'd have been doomed without you."

Noticing the gross stuff covering Shava and now her own clothes, Roswyn activates a prestidigitation spell and begins to clean them both. As she does, she arches an eyebrow at Shava. "Who's Elec?"

---

Roswyn listens as the others discuss their arcane findings, nodding occasionally. When the subject of the prisoners is raised, she pipes up. "Yes, what to do with them? I'm not sure it's practical to turn them over to the authorities - it would delay us, and we'd need a good story. But if we slay them out of hand, they may rise again as undead. Would taking them out of the immediate area first prevent that from happening? It might be best to just leave them in some secure spot, but that's easier said than done...

"Oh, and I do speak yip-yip."
She giggles. "What do we want to ask them? It seems unlikely they'll cooperate, but maybe we can trick some bit of information out of them. In any case, let's get them squared away, then we can check out this door that Rohna has found."

"Elec?" Shava pauses as if trying to figure out to what Roswyn was referring. Elec-Squall, first son of Lyrandar, one of the most talented wizards out of Stormhome, charming, intelligent, dedicated. He gave me this dagger. I remember that day. . .

"As a person? None that I know. Stands for Electricity. Shorthand on the air ships. Used primarily when avoiding lightning, during storms." She took a breathe and straightened her newly restored clothes. She gave a nod of thanks to Roswyn. I should learn that a some point.

Moving may help, might not. I can't be sure that the connection may be part of them now due to prolonged exposure. This isn't quite my usual expertise."

"Hmmm... well for one thing, let's blindfold them both before we wake them up. We can threaten to kill them, and when they start with their little 'We have looked death in the face and lived' routine, we can tell them that we've moved them elsewhere, and see how they react to that. Though of course, they might not know themselves if they need to be here to come back..."

[sblock=Tondrek Names]Okay, everyone officially has a Tondrek Name now.[/sblock]
She stands and gives Tondrek a quick hug as well, reaching up to grasp his waist. "Tondrek, you are wonderful. I think we'd have been doomed without you."
Tondrek blushes at the hug, not exactly sure how to react. Doggie's reaction is a stern glare, but he looks at everything that way.

"As a person? None that I know. Stands for Electricity. Shorthand on the air ships. Used primarily when avoiding lightning, during storms."
Tondrek's jaw opens agape at the mention of airships and he rushes over to Stormy Half-Elf as words pour out, Ooo!ElectricitygreatmakefunIlikeairshipsBeen onlivingoneonce ItaliveandmadsortaCanyoutakemeonone pleasepleaseplease!

After catching his breath, he remembers they have another task. He brightens. Take them up to back ally we come in and speaky to them. But not too far so others don't come back here. Likely short time!

[sblock=renau]Depending on what is decided you'll get your gold, sooner or later.[/sblock]

*Tondrek: 47/53 4/10(13) AP: 0
*Shava: 27/39 2/7(9) AP: 0
Brenron: -10/44 8/9(11) AP: 1 -- 1 failed death save
*Tamarand: 41/41 5/8(10) AP: 0
*Rohna: 51/51 resist 1 all 8/13 AP: 1--
*Roswyn: 33/35 3/7(8) AP: 1

After blindfolding the prisoners the team decides tries to come to a conclusion on where to take them.

[sblock=Arcane 15]Dolurrh influence seems to be in this general area. A few blocks would probably suffice, but out of the district may be safer.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]I would prefer an extended rest before gaining new hp/powers etc, but if you guys want to push on without go ahead. Unless I hear something from Mal within too much time, I'll assume he spends 4 surges to get back to full.

How is the gold and equipment getting split up?[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]An extended rest now would be nice, but how practical is it? Presumably there are other kobolds or their allies, we couldn't just waltz back in and down the trap door the next day... I think we have to press on.

Approximately how long would it take to bring our prisoners outside the district? (Again there might be practical difficulties with dragging them through the streets.)

As for loot, I think people have claimed items right? (Roswyn already got her orb before.) Even split on the cash and gems?[/sblock]

Arcana 22

Shava smiles as Tondrek gets quite clearly excited. It always helps when people are willing too.

"The next time I am in command of an airship you are more than welcome aboard friend." Something however was distracting her about their plans. She sought out the arcane energies again.

"The influence of Dolurrh is present here. It's strong too. We would need to move these creatures at least a few blocks to be safely out of it's influence. Out of the district would be better though." It was not a relization that settled well with her.

"We seem to have a choice between taking them away and interrogating them or moving into this trap door. If we were to bother interrogating them properly we may as well take a proper rest, which I'm sure some of us could use." She paused to allow people time to consider.

"However, I have little faith that we will learn anything from these fanatics. It seems more practical to slit their throats and move on now. We may not have the opportunity later."

[sblock=OOC]While we could do an even split, remember Tondrek is 2 level higher than all'y'all, which is why the pile is larger than it should be (see Evo's original post). Its an even level 4 of gold for all the 4s plus one level 6 pile for Tondrek.[/sblock]Tondrek scrunches his face, thinking. If we leave, then other k'bolds comes back or the Watch or the dancing folk and we fight again. Killing them bad and makes them worse. Just ask them few questions quick then leave them tied and stupid and we go!
