[sblock=OOC] Rohna is choosing "Crack the Shell" for her new 5th level daily exploit. Rohna got the +1 flaming hammer already so just needs her 1/5th gold dispersements from lvl 4 (168g), lvl 5 (200g), and her 5th lvl parcel is gold as well (1000g). Its quite a jump in price from lvl 5 to lvl 6 items at 1000 to 1800[/sblock]"I can't really tell if they are dead or just not moving. I'm just being sure in case." She nudges one of the bound bodies with a heavy, metal-shod black boot.

[sblock=ooc]I'm brand new to treasure in LEB so I'll take what you want to give. The Belt is from my wishlist, and it fits my treasure allocation.[/sblock]

"The influence of Dolurrh is present here. It's strong too. We would need to move these creatures at least a few blocks to be safely out of it's influence. Out of the district would be better though." It was not a relization that settled well with her.

"We seem to have a choice between taking them away and interrogating them or moving into this trap door. If we were to bother interrogating them properly we may as well take a proper rest, which I'm sure some of us could use." She paused to allow people time to consider.

"However, I have little faith that we will learn anything from these fanatics. It seems more practical to slit their throats and move on now. We may not have the opportunity later."

Roswyn nods. "I have no qualms about slitting the throats of these filthy, vicious little creatures. I'm just afraid it may not be safe to do so. If we drag them a few blocks away first, there will at least be a chance they won't be back to haunt us. Then we can return and investigate beneath the club. While I sure wouldn't mind a nice rest, I just don't think we have the time for it now."

Tondrek scrunches his face, thinking. If we leave, then other k'bolds comes back or the Watch or the dancing folk and we fight again. Killing them bad and makes them worse. Just ask them few questions quick then leave them tied and stupid and we go!

Roswyn smiles at Tondrek. "If we leave them tied up here, and any of their friends show up, they'll be able to tell their friends where we went, and might attack us from behind. I think it'd be worth it to dump them in an alley outside someplace, where they'd be better hidden. Tamarand, Shava - maybe you could go take them out and find a good hiding place for them? And make sure they're comfortable? Like in the old saying: 'Tie your troubles to an arrow and shoot them far away, they won't trouble you again until a later day.' She catches Shava's eye, then the drow's. "Or in the original tongue:"

[sblock=Elven]"Go ahead and kill them if you think it's safe, but maybe just hiding them really would be for the best. Maybe take the dwarf and/or the goliath along just in case. I'll stay here with our simple friend."[/sblock]

"In the meantime, Tondrek, why don't you and I divvy up these coins? I bet you're really good at counting! But you know what? Since you and Doggie defeated those last two bad kobolds, and were such a big help to Stormy Half-Elf and Thrifty Man when they needed it, I think you should get an extra reward! Like... this pretty blue gem right here?" Roswyn rolls a small sapphire from the pile over to the half-orc, looking around at the rest of the group, daring anyone to object. "I think it would look very nice on a collar for Doggie!"

OOC: value of opal = 192 gp... coincidentally bringing Tondrek's share up to 360 gp. :)

Shava suddenly had a better sense of how this group really operated. She grabbed the wizard by the scruff his cloak and made to leave.

"I think we can handle that. Rohna, give me a hand with the stairs won't you."

Tamarand looks at the gnome with a tilted head as she speaks in the elven tongue, not understanding.

Drow speat Giant in Eberron[/sblock]

[sblock=oops!]Oops!

Roswyn would have known that, of course... she also knows that Tondrek speaks Giant... so an "old giant proverb" wouldn't have worked. :)

Well, I'm sure Shava can fill Tamarand in. I'd think that Tamarand might also get the drift behind, "Make sure they're comfortable" without any more help. :) [/sblock]

[sblock=judge]
Encounter 1: Robbery: 501 xp
Minor Quest: Rescue Ronald(success): 70 xp
Encounter 2: Chase Skill Challenge: 180 xp
Encounter 3: Gotcha!: 350 xp

Total: 1101 xp each. Don't forget to link this post to your character sheet!

Skill Challenge: Get into the club: 58 xp each
Encounter 4: Dirty Money: 701 each

Everybody gains 759 xp. This is enough to level Rohna, Tamarand, and Roswyn. Sorry SG(that is what you get for starting at level 6 ;) ). With the other joining up later, they are a bit further behind in xp.

Approved.[/sblock]

[sblock=Streetwise/History 20]
You are in a lower level of Sharn. This dictates two things. The first being the watch doesn't have a big presence down here. Your run in with them before was probably bad luck. Also, something that happens in real life may apply here. Common folk witnessing a crime, probably won't say anything about it for fear of retaliation. Since you were on the side of victory, they may even respect you guys and give you guys their loyalty not that the kobold gang is on the run.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Don't forget a dragon has been mentioned. Almost everybody is down to less than half surges and some have used their daily powers.[/sblock]

[sblock=Tondrek knows stuff about junk]History 29[/sblock][sblock=Languages]Tondrek doesn't speak Giant. Eberron orcs speak Goblin. ;)[/sblock]Tondrek, beginning to happily count things, looks over at the three talking 'bout the prisoners. He continues to count, but absent-mindedly adds, Maybe we safe here. Once, when working with the Two Fishes, Brother Crunch beat up the Stinky Gang and then no one bother them and such. We might be good here. Folks thing we strong. Also, maybe I wrong 'bout watch. Watch never comes. Except when they do, which isn't much. Like never. Sorta.

*groan*... oh, wait. It's over. Well, that was unproductive use of my time. Okay, so I am game to continue.

Brenron picks himself up and tries to wipe of the blood from his armor but ends up smearing it all over. He gives up in disgust.

OOC: 4 surge, back to full health
