Tamarand stops for a moment then looks at Shava, "I was wrong about you Lyrandar, didn't think you had the stomach for it, but you did. There's hope for you yet. Let's get back to the others before they decide there's only enough gold for them" the drow says

Rohna loathed the smell of the kobold blood that splattered her armor for the 3rd time today. She glanced around the room for any unspilled flagons that she could use to dilute the odor once the others arrived. Her eyes returning to the street she ponders to herself. I wonder if there is some sort of magic that can prevent blood from sticking to armor?

Roswyn has been using a cantrip to clean people's clothes, I'm sure Rohna would have seen that. If she asks Roswyn will gladly do the same for her.[/sblock]

When the drow opens the pouch he finds four rubies, of equal size.

The pair rejoins the others and the Dancing Kobold. It is up to them to decide what they wish to do.

"Not sure about the rest of you, but after that last fight I wouldn't mind catching a few hours of sleep. Those kobolds took something out of me. " Tamarand says, "I only need 4 hours in my trance to get back my arcane energies. I can watch last" he offers.

"There were no problems with the prisoners?" Roswyn asks Shava. "What was the feeling out on the street - any signs of trouble? More gang members? If not, then I agree with Tamarand, we could use a rest before going down into the sewers. I'm certainly very tired after all that." She yawns.

She turns to the drow. "It would be wonderful if you are able to keep watch while we sleep. Also, I know a ritual to set arcane eyes of alarm. I should be able to manage one eye for each of the three entrances to the building. Although..." She taps her teeth, musing. "Even if we don't have unwanted guests, is it a good idea to sleep in this place? It does seem to be saturated with necromantic energy..."

"I saw nothing out of the ordinary, just some pros that I scared off." the drow replies, himself looking over the area to determine if there's a safe spot to rest.

Tondrek, who has stacked the coins into six small towers that sort of rotation around each other, sniffs and says Stinky sewer there. Bodies there maybe? If we wait, we wait.

[sblock=ooc]Pending evo's response on the Arcana checks... are we resolved to have an extended rest here in the club?

If so, should Roswyn use the Eye of Alarm ritual to help keep watch? It's being a little paranoid, but only at the cost of 25 gp. If three folks trained in Arcana will assist her, the ritual is guaranteed to create 3 eyes, enough to cover each entrance to the building. The eyes do have to be within 10 squares of where the ritual is performed, so maybe they can't all be right on top of the doors, but I think they should be close enough. (They will have a Perception check of only +7, so a backup watch wouldn't hurt.)[/sblock]

"No trouble at all." Shava says casually. "In fact, they seemed more sleepy than I would have previously imagined."

She looks around at the wrecked place. Not my preferred resting spot, but at least we'll know if someone shows up. She did her best to keep any troubled look off her face ( Bluff 20 ). It wasn't just their next actions but the words of the drow when she returned.

Who is he to judge my abilities? No wonder he under estimated me, I'm sure he had no proper comparison. I'm sure my stomach has handled more than he knows. . . still perhaps I need to give him more credit. He was quite skilled and there seemed to be a touch of Storm in there. I have worked with more unsavory races. She looked casually at the dark elf. Then again, maybe I need to give him less credit.

"I'll assist you in the ritual Roswyn. I feel better with the eyes in place."

While the others prepare for camp, Tondrek is distracted by the music box again. He starts trying to pull it apart and put it back together, humming contently to himself. When Talky Gnome taps him on the shoulder and whispers something about ritual he forgets what he was doing and claps happily. He does his best to follow along, adding a bit of improvisation on his own, easily assisting the gnome.
