Tamarand is surprised at Rohna's comment and does his best to hide his face, and the slight embarrassment that comes across it. He will stay to the front of the group, as oblivious to danger as ever, but doing a better job of remaining out of sight.

Tamarand continues to move stealthily ahead of the majority of a group. Peering around a corner he can see into a room beyond. Water rushes through a fissure in the middle of the floor, moving left to right. On the right side of the room, near the entrance a large blackscaled lizard man towers over you. He seems to be an identical creature to that which the changeling killed outside the back entrance to the Dancing Kobold. He holds a club the size of a tree trunk studded with bits of stone.

On the other side of the chasm are three figures. One is a green scaled lizardman(L) with spear, the next is a dragonborn(D) it’s longsword in hand and wearing heavy plate armor. The final is a kobold(K) who stands out because of a black scale fused to it’s chest. The trio seems to be talking and nobody has noticed the drow. The tunnel continues on on the other side of the room.

Tamarand raises his hand to signal for the group to stop and the drow slowly moves back to report his findings.

Anyway, there is nothing most of us can do with a surprise round from that location.

If they haven't heard us yet, I say Tamarand (and any other reasonably stealthy character) sneak back to the entrance of the cave while the rest of us wait.

We'll start that surprise round with the clumsy ones in the back and the stealthy one near the entrance. Then we rush in (and they rush back).

I'll not consider the surprise round to start until you round the corner and come into sight of the baddies, so everbody gets a standard action.

Hey, what did I say about racial slurs

With a scowl to Brenron, the drow turns back the way he came.

Tamarand will carefully pick his way forward, avoiding any loose stones or puddles that may give away his position. He spots the trio of juicy targets and despite his misgivings about being at the front lines, the drow decides to take action. He slashes in the air with the daggers and a trio of white beams blast outwards from the whirling blades. The fly through the air, one striking the lizardman and the dragonborn, chilling them and leaving some remaining chill that continues to affect them. The final ones heads towards the large brutish blackscaled lizardman, but it is less effective, partially striking the wall it is behind.
