With a scowl to Brenron, the drow turns back the way he came.
Tamarand will carefully pick his way forward, avoiding any loose stones or puddles that may give away his position. He spots the trio of juicy targets and despite his misgivings about being at the front lines, the drow decides to take action. He slashes in the air with the daggers and a trio of white beams blast outwards from the whirling blades. They fly through the air, one striking the lizardman and the dragonborn, chilling them and leaving some remaining chill that continues to affect them. The final ones heads towards the large brutish blackscaled lizardman striking it hard in the chest.
Roswyn peeks around the corner, staying behind Brenron.
"Well, well," she says.
"It's a regular reptile convention down here. Where's the dragon?"
Sticking with the theme, she conjures an illusion of dozens of tiny dragons that nip and harry the big lizardman near the entrance. The lizardman already distracted by the javelin slaps at the swarm of tiny dragons, growing frustrated by their continued assault.
Tondrek slips forward, crossbow in hand. Slipping in front of Tamarand, he
oooo's at the larger lizardman, having never seen one before, and quickly surmizes it'd be dangerous. Quickly enchanting a bolt with powerful acid, he sends it at the unsuspecting large lizardman. The bolt slams into the large specimen, weakening its defenses.
Big guy easier to hit! Hit now!
Tondrek lowers his crossbow and, he scratches his head and points towards a shadowy corner.
'Nother big lizard person-man-folk-thing there. Biggie. He turns to Tamarand behind him.
You no see him? Big? Dark? Mean? The artificer's call reveals another lizardman on the other side of the passage.
Rohna stays at the front of the group as they start moving, and charges the same blackscaled lizardman. The blazing arc of the hammer connects with a solidly with a sizzling crunch.
"They just can't even try to stop themselves from scheming for a day can they." The goliath notices another blackscale nearby as she moves to strike the other lizardman.
Shava moves forward slowly at first, but once the others let loose she does as well targeting the large lizard Tondrek indicated. A bolt of thunder releases from her slender frame, sending the target stumbling towards the rushing water. The lizardman stumbles too much though and falls just short of the rushing liquid.
Brenron hustle with his allies and takes position against the wall. He aimes carefully and summons the mights of the gods to blast his enemies with divine light. But the result is barely more impressive than a lantern's illumination. The invokers stands speechless for a moment.
-''The gods have abandoned me.'' Brenon says, stunned.
