Rohna moves over to Tondrek and places a rimefire plate gauntleted hand on her warforge's shoulder, the tell-tale mist rising from under the overlapping portions. "Take the energy you need to be as ready for the next time we get jumped, whenever you're ready?" She turns back to the cityguard captain while their artificer drains her healing ability for the good of the group. "And now there seems to be quite a bit more gear to add to the running total it looks like."

Shava crawls a bit away from the drow then casually walks to the end of the bridge waiting for the rest of the group. Interesting development, and I even managed to remain dissociated with any sort of shady dealing.

As the adventurers gather together, the dwarf and the goliath give a small portion of their endurance to the half-orc artificer. Shava walks gracefully over and sheathes her daggers. The captain winks and sends a smirk toward the attractive half-elf.

Responding to Rohna's statement. "Yeah we can do that. I'll just add it to the rest of what you found."

Tamarand suddenly realizes he never searched the body of the remaining gnome nearby. The dragonshard gear wasn't the only thing in that belt pouch. Two small black vials contain a small amount of liquid.

Shava keeps her thoughts to herself but offers a coy smile back to the guard. Isn't everyone just a charmer today.

Tamarand will carefully slip the vials into his pack as well, not wishing to spend the time here looking them over in case a more upstanding guardsmen, if there were any in Sharn, happened by.

Tondrek gratefully takes the lent strength, then gets ready to head back to the bar.

I can't think of anything else to ask the guard...

On the way back to the kobold bar, Roswyn addresses her companions. "It seemed to me that the ambushers were focused on Tamarand and me, then secondarily on Tondrek. I'm speculating, but perhaps someone wanted to target those of us trained in arcane matters? And if so, then their information would have been a little bit out of date, since they would have also targeted Shava if they had known about her. But she joined us after the first battles."

She ponders for a moment. "Or is there something else that Tamarand and I have in common, besides our good looks?"

The group heads back to The Dancing Kobold, talking amongt themselves. As they round the bend, nothing seems out of the ordinary. Tucking weapons and implements under cloaks they walk to the door. The adventurers rush inside, blades drawn and magic flashing, only to find the place empty. A quick look around reveals everything as they left it. They move to the trapdoor and get to work opening it.

A ladder descends onto a stone landing. The landing is twenty feet below you, illuminated by a strange green light. After descending to the landing you realize you are in a large cylindrical room, it’s over a hundred feet from your location to the ground far below. The room itself is around fifty feet in diameter. A set of stair winds around the walls of the room many times until it reaches the ground. Glowing green mold grow on the walls and floor providing dim lighting. It smells of moisture and sewage here. Indeed you can hear the dripping of water, and the floor you stand upon is moist.

"I cannot think of anything that I don't share myself." Shava answers. Which does bring back my thought that perhaps this darkling has house blood flowing through his veins. How would those gnomes know I wonder?

Rohna lights her hammer and holds it aloft for an extra source of illumination. She takes her time as she tests the stairs for strength before just trundling down them blindly.
