[sblock=ooc]I'm counting the conversation as the short rest.[/sblock]
-''Uh. We are talking about a drow so... Hiding in shadows, aiming for your head, I guess. Don't take it personnally.'' Brenron says, shrugging.
"Well you can call him out, whenever you're ready. I guess if you wanted me dead, I would be already though. That probably wouldn't be in your best interest though, seeing how I owe you's money."
[sblock=ooc]I believe R1 is one vacation. I'll let him ease back in when he is ready.[/sblock]
Tondrek sniffs, but could do nothing else for the now-forged. As he stands, he says,
No here but there or near there that be plane touched likely these be from I think. Feyish planish.
He blinks a moment when he sees the now real-guards around a moment, then ignores them once again to paw over to where Doggies inert remains rest. He removes the bolts from him, then lovingly begins some repairs. After a few minutes, he has put everything back where it should. The flaming trash pile, who has been staying next to Tondrek, finally collapses just as Tondrek finished. And, just as quickly, Doggie comes back to its feet, good as know.
Rohna cracks her neck to the side as she joins the rest of the group speaking to the real cityguard. She flexes her shoulders and the red crystal parts of her skin flare brighter as her wounds close and she wipes the blood from the corner of her mouth.
"These buggers had some really lasting illusions of you and others." She nudges the inert construct with her black plated boot in emphasis.
"How do they get things like that?"
"Of me? Mages probably or artificers..."
Roswyn stares at the guard, seemingly lost in thought.
[sblock=ryryguy]Roswyn senses no falsehoods from the captain, nor any sort of magical auras. Illusion detection is insight by the way.[/sblock]
She turns and addresses Tondrek in goblin. The captain crosses his arms and snorts, but says nothing. He probably understands bits of goblin.
Tondrek hears Roswyn and blinks in confusion again, apparently forgetting for a second time that they had "visitors." He squints a moment, then shrugs to the gnome.
Lots of magic. Probably Sharn.
[sblock=Stonegod]You knowledge of arcana is good enough, combined with your knowledge of the fey vines to conclude that these warforged were influences by Thelanis, and their ability to change shape was given by proximity to that plane at their creation. The ability to change shape is very similar to that of changelings.[/sblock]
