Gregorian jumps slightly at the tap on his shoulder and smiles at Shariff. "Great, thanks!" He then moves forward, slowly, looking for the construct react to his presence, and then he'll try to lead it away from the mechanism so that Shariff can fix it.

OOC: Gregorian will use total defense for the round, trying to draw the creature aside.

Popgoes will help to distract the scorpion thing while Shariff makes his move.
ooc: Can you give me an idea of what needs to be done?

[I am very much confused by what has been said, Allow me to provide a map]

Provide Actions based on your current position. Gur, Silvercat, and Devlin. Their positions are At the Gate, occupying each occupying the Gate space, so they aren't labeled. If Silvercat chooses to roll under the gate, he will make a reflex save and the gate will be dropped by the two currently holding it. Lifting the gate during the combat requires a strength check by all characters involved. None of the constructs have taken any actions yet.

Initiatives
[C] Corix - 18
[D] Devlin - 11
[G] Gregorian - 10
Silvercat - 6
[Gr] Gur - 16
[A] Argus - 9 [?]
[Sf] Shariff - 17
[Sn] Sullivan - 3

Non-Character Initiatives (Do not read)
Construct Guarding Crank - 19
????Rust Monster???? - 16
Other Constructs - 20, 18, 14, 4, 11, 10

"Sullivan, think that toolbox of yours is strong enough to hold this gate up? If so, slide it under here, now." The strain of holding the gate is starting to show on Devlin's face.

Gregorian will move to 12-g, then 11-g to seee if the creature advances on him. If it still doe snot, then he will move to 10-g where he'll extend his raier into 10-h, next to the creature. As soon as the creature responds, Gregorian will try to draw it towards 10-b to give Shariff enough room to, hopefully, fix the crank.

OoC:Silvercat's crowbar would be a help for the toolbox, asfar as holding up the Gate.
Um...I'll go for it!!!
The Ref save that is..I'm a Hero, after all...

Corix (Under CS) - Arms his light crossbow and waits for any commands to use it.

Shariff - Responsible for fixing the crank, delays his action for after Gregorian.

Gur - Holding Gate

Devlin - Holding Gate

Gregorian - Moves towards G12, the construct bolts after him. He moves to B10 with the creature striking after him. (Adjudication against turn based combat for this)

Shariff - Bolts to the device, he is able to determine that it will take (1d4) 4 minutes to repair the device without any sort of tools, and that it could fail. Never-the-less he immediatly begins work on the device.

Argus - Argus, armed with heavy waraxe prepares for the constructs in front of him (or his crossbow if player posts such).

Silvercat - Delays to let Sullivan attempt to use his toolbox as a block against the fall of the device. Silvercat attempts to roll under the gates. (Your going to hate this. The dice rolled a natural 1 for you again) Silvercat is too slow, and even with Sullivan's toolbox and his own crowbar in the way, the gates come down hard on him. He manages to make it to the other side, but has been injured by the falling gate (-1 hp, 7 points of bludgeoning damage).

Sullivan - Initiative is now at same time as Silvercat.

(Initiatives are in the orders posted above.)

After the gate drops, Devlin picks his crossbow back up and takes aim at the constructs down the hall and waits for them to make a move.

"Good luck in there..."

OoC:Ugh, oh well...he wasn't really being all that useful anyways, what with a rapier or a Morningstar that he is +1 with...
I'll stay tuned to see if I make positive HPs anytime soon...

Gregorian tries to fence with the thing and experimentally tries to use a fient against it, but knows that this fighting technech... his FAVORED fighting technech will more then likely fail, and even open himself up for a counter attack, but with his pitiful pig-sticker of a weapon, he sees no other recourse. Of course, even if it does succeed, he woul dnot even know wher eto strike it to do more damage! Damn constructs! Next time, perhaps he'll just attack the thing, trying to maintain some defence at the same time.

"Hurry! Now that it's destracted, see what you can do with the device!"
