"Sorry about that... it's just that I'm also ill prepared for this duty as well, and I'm not in favor of becoming the floor decoration for this room!" Gregorians voice is light and merry, as if sharing a joke with the other, and continues to work with all his meager skill to keep the contraption at bay.

I'll update as soon as I can. Not today, definitely not tomorrow, and probably not thursday. If I don't update by thursday, I can't update Friday-Sunday... or monday... so the next definite time is next Tuesday...

That makes me sad...

Actually... the only thing that needs to be resolved this round is Gregorian's action. (Fighting defensively may work better than a feint for future combat of this type... anyway)...

Gregorian, 15 rolled against the construct (a miss). The constructs attack is an 8, which is not quite accurate enough to touch Gregorian.

A halfling, small even for his people, steps up to the michrophone. a tiny spotlight centered on him he opens his mouth to say BUMP but instead get hit in the head with a rotten tomato thrown by an elf with long silver hair.

Gregorian Versus the Construct
While Shariff tries desperately to repair the chain that works with the crank, brave Gregorian tries to avoid the hyperactive bronze spider and it's whirling blade. He dodges as best he can, trying to keep his distance from Gregorian.

Gregorian AC 17

Leaping at Gregorian in hopes of cleaving his knee, the construct comes after him. Gregorian dodges, but just as quickly the construct comes after him again. He manages to avoid it's blade, continuing to avoid it's rather predictable movements. Leading the creature on, when he finally thinks he has the movements of the construct figured out, it manages to cross it's blade across Gregorian's leg (2 hp damage).

(9, 7, 6, 10, 13, 18, 11, 13, 21 (1))

Shariff and the Chain
Shariff tries his hardest to attach the two seperate lengths of chain. This is a troublesome project, and after a minute he believes he has the links connected, finally. He takes this chance to look over at Gregorian, who is bleeding from the leg, and then back at the closed bronze gate to the south. How are his friends doing with their fair? (DC 15 strength check, natural 20 rolled)

Waiting on the Gate
Gur, Corix, Sullivan, and Devlin

Nine more rounds pass without reaction from the group of constructs and the thing at the front. Sullivan is nervous, Gur anxious, and you wait. Then, suddenly, you here the first sounds of the gate being cranked on a chain. It rises it's first inch, on partially raised now. Just as you begin to feel reassured, the pack of bronze spiders rush forwards past the stone hued creatures, the sounds of their rotary blades slowly warming up to cutting speed...
