Gregorian glances over to the rising gate and sees the first of his companions come through. "Excuse me, but could one of you give me a hand? My pig sticker was made for flesh, not metal and I seem to be at a disadvantage." He dodges once more to the side, continuing to stay defensice as long as he's able.

"Someone get Silvercat out of the way of the gate!" Sariff yells.

While fending off the constructs, Devlin slides his discarded crossbow behind him and into the other room with his foot. "Can't be forgetting that."
Once the gate is high enough to for him to pass under, Devlin backs up through the opening. He pauses for an instant to grab Silvercat by the collar and drags him backward into the room with himself.

Combat Continues
As the constructs continue to use their varied mechanized weaponry to disassemble thier targets, (15+2 to hit) Gur continues to struggle to keep himself from being minced. Gregorian, on the other side, is struck (20+2, 5+2, 7 slashing damage) Gregorian falls to the ground grabbing his now severely wounded knee. The small construct crawls up onto Gregorian's space now, menacingly readying it's blade.
Corix Delays. The swarm continues to attack, (11+2).
Shariff raises the gate another quarter, and now waits for his friends to make it to the other side. Gur maintains full defense as he moves to the other side, suffering numerous attacks from the creatures surrounding him. (17+2, 19+2, 3+2, 18+2, 19+2) He edges his way into the room, and helps to move Silvercat away from the gateway. The heaviest creature lulls forwards still, menacingly, towards Argus. It halts itself just behind the smaller constructs.
Corix goes into the gate now that Gur has presented an opportunity and fires off his magic missile in protection of Gregorian. (5 Damage. Which is enough to destroy it.)
Argus avoids a constructs attack (5+2 to hit). Devlin attempts to stabilize, (41% Fails), bringing him to -5. Argus now is struck (15+2, 3 damage), unexpectedly. Argus strikes out at one of the constructs (20+2, 15+2, 8 damage) destroying it before he flees to the other side of the gate. Sullivan also makes it before the gate is finally released and it falls to the ground.
Now the party can here the scraping of the mechanations metal tools on the opposite side of the door. Can they get through?

Gur now attempts his heal check (+9) on Devlin, 17+9 Passes. Devlin is now bandaged and stabilized.
Gur looks at everyone, "I'm hurt pretty bad, anyone of you think you can help me out, they got me pretty good. And hey, thanks Corix, I don't know what you did, but it was helpful. And thanks you two for getting that gate up with the winch... good work."
"Now what should we do?" turning to the scholar...
Sullivan states, "Well, now were in the main highway tunnel. Well, not inside it just yet, but were at the adjunction. The site were looking for is about a quarter mile down from here, but we might need to rest. How are all of you? I'm worried about Silvercat and especially Devlin at this point."
