(Adventure) Dwarven Golems and Old Ruins (GaryH Judging)

(Disadvantage to not pulling punches: the PCs that are most active tend to get knocked out first for no particularly good reason. Happened in LHHS all the time...)

 

[Argent Silvermage]

Shariff seeing that the danger has passed for now runs over to Silvercat. He will bind his wounds as best he can and see if he can't bring him around. "Mr. Cat You OK?"

 

[Dungannon]

OOC: I'm assuming your references to Devlin needing stabilization are actually referring to Gregorian again.

Now that the excitement has lulled, Devlin looks about the chamber.

"Good work with that gate, Sharrif. You have my thanks. Looks like some of our band could use a little patching up. Since I'm not very good at that sort of thing, I will move ahead a little and do a little scouting while the more seriously injured are tended to."

With that, Devlin sheaths his rapier, picks up and loads his crossbow and heads to the rear of the chamber where it appears to continue on into the darkness.

 

[Argent Silvermage]

"Don't go far Devlin. We need to stay together in order to survive." Shariff says.

 

[Dungannon]

Devlin turns and flashes a sly smile at the halfling. "Don't worry, little one. I have no intentions of fighting any of these things without backup."

He then turns back and continues to head out the back of the chamber, adjusting the sunrod on his shoulderstrap as he goes.

 

[Creamsteak]

Devlin, as you venture around the corner, you find yourself looking at a much wider cavern. This one turns to the left and right, much wider than before, possibly 90 feet wide. There are two ramps leading down at a slight incline, the first heads downwards to your left and is right in front of you. The other ramp, 8 feet wide itself, is on the opposite side and is angled in the opposite direction. In the middle are four metal rails, equidistant from each other, leading in either direction and finally a small white stone path covered with accumulated dirt and mud tracks.

At the edge of your sight, to your far left, you can make out what appears to be a face, but it is not discernable immediately:

(Wake, good Gregorian...) - Fine by me.

Devlin spends a few minutes watching the face, looking for any sign of movement in that area.

The face disappears into the darkness, you cannot see it now.
