(Adventure) Hunt for the Cirya de Pietro [Judge - garyh]

ao'Thuir will help his friend Hallador find a weapons locker for the crossbows he has bought. He accepts everyones cash, then seeing that he has only paid for his own weapons will give Katherine some money for the things that she bought. With that he will busy himself by getting to know the rest of the crew that she has hired.

"Good. Hallandor, if you'll see to getting the crew aboard and settled I'll make sure we get all the cargo and supplies loaded. We should be able to set sail with the morning tide."

Remi then heads off to make sure the cargo & supplies find their way to the ship and get loaded in a timely fashion.

Once the cargo is loaded Remi returns to the ship and spends a few minutes introducing himself to the crew.

"Everyone ready to sail?"

Hallador readies himself for a new adventure...Well my first command, never thought it would be at sea...perhaps in the woods or in defence of a besieged village...but The Trickster has his rewards for the faithfull.....
The elven paladin sets about getting to know the crews skills and where they best fit letting them know where to stow gear and where weapons are...double checking for ill intent and getting ready to set sail. He will also stow his armour in a waterproof area (or at least as water resistant as possible) for the beginning of the voyage.

OoC: Sorry for the long wait, people... I've been neglecting updating for no real reason, which I shouldn't have been doing. I'll keep better track of things from here on in.

The morning after Katherine gathered crew, and everyone has purchased equipment...

You are putting the finishing touches on preparations, when seven figures walk down the dock towards your ship. Ricardo leads them, followed immediately by the elf, then the humans, then the halflings; a few of them carry small packs. They shop in front of the ship.

"Ricardo, at yer service." Ricardo says with a slight bow. "Reporting as asked, lass, along with th' rest a yer crew... Thamior," The elf nods his head, "Marques," One of the humans, a bald man, nods, "Warden," A man with long black hair with a multitude of beads strung them it nods, "Lascin," A shorter, shirtless man nods, "Alton," A halfling wearing a black bandana nods, "and Cade." The other halfling, with long, braided blonde hair, nods.

"That's yer crew." Ricardo says, returning to face the ship. "We met at th' inn we first talked at, an' we be acquainted with each other."

Katherine
When the crew has assembled, katherine will present them with the ship's orders, introduce Hallandor and stay out of the way. ;)

Hallandor
The elven paladin sets about getting to know the crews skills and where they best fit letting them know where to stow gear and where weapons are...double checking for ill intent and getting ready to set sail.

After a few minutes of conversation, you find that Ricardo is well-versed in nearly everything, lacking only in experience with navigation. Thamior seems to be highly skilled with ranged weaponry. Marques is a navigator - you note a few rolls of parchment in his pack. The rest seem to be standard sailors, having a smattering of knowledge of sailing; slightly varied, but there are no experts in any particular thing among them. None of them seem to have evil intent, and none of them detect as evil.

They follow Hallandor around the ship, asking no questions and merely observing. They drop their gear off in the indicated places, and take long, hard looks at the weaponry.

Remi
"Everyone ready to sail?"

There is a general call of "Aye" from the seven.

-----

The morning tide is beginning to come in, the sunrise is a light orange in color, patches of yellow and red throughout. So far, it looks like it will be a fair day at sea.

ao'Thuir of the Ghost Tribe, male Wood Elf Barbarian 1

Once everyone is aboard ao'Thuir will wander around talking to the crew and getting to know them. He is particularily interested in meeting Thamior, for he did not know that elves sailed. ao'Thuir unfortunately comes off as being kind of backwards and inexperienced. His time spent with his tribe on the plains has left him a little less educated in the ways of the world. He is honestly trying to be more open, and his time spent with the caravan he came to Orussus with has been most enlightening - including learning to read.

Now that everyone has responded, Remi looks expectantly towards Katherine, waiting for her to issue the order to set sail...

Thamior isn't incredibly talkative. He nods in accordance with ao'Thuir's questions, and doesn't say much, his expression changing little.

A little put off by Thamior's quiet manner, ao'Thuir none-the-less circulates around to the other crew to try and engage them in friendly conversation. Perhaps Alton and Cade will be more open, he has only met one or two halflings before and they were very talkative. At Katherine or Hallandor's word though, ao'Thuir will get down to business and leave the greetings till later should they order us to set sail.
