*The messenger glances at Tandi and then back at Cade, who seems to be the most reasonable now after Anton called him ignorant.*

"Methinks your girl here is getting awfully cranky. Mayhaps it is...that time?" he conjectures, as they head onwards toward the manor.

Tandi nods understanding at Anton, but the messenger's comment made the pot boil over. "That is it!"

Unless any of her party attempts to stop her, Tandi is intent on beating some sense into this messenger, her way.

<Well, he certainly did prove his ignorance.> Anton shakes his head, making no attempt to stop Tandi. Though, if Tandi needs the help, he'll make sure she stays alive.

Thurgan - Init: +2; AC: 19; HP: 36/36; Atk: W-axe +8 (1d10+5), X-bow +5 (1d8+1)

Thurgan was certain that this was a deliberate provoking . . . perhaps to get them off track. Amazingly, Thurgan held up his hand, his other going toward his crossbow as he glanced at the messenger. "Easy, lass, itsa lookin' like da man is gonna fall to his knees an' beg forgiveness from ya . . . if'n he knows whats good fer him," Thurgan offered, still watching the messenger.

"What in Sela's name? Have you all gone mad?" the messenger asks incredulously as Tandi prepares to attack and Thurgan reaches for his crossbow.

*He makes no move to defend himself.*

(OOC: Let me know if anyone wants to attack. You automatically win initiative)

"Mad? I do not know your rationale for not doing so, but we ask that you treat all of us with respect. We all are with our wits, certainly not mad. Please, apologize."

Tandi's fury seethes through her teeth as Thurgan's dwarven hand intercepts her. Now normally she would have torn the man's hand clean from its wrist, but she had kept enough of her wits about her to see that he was only trying to prevent further problems. Breathe girl, you're going to get yourself and everyone else in serious trouble.

Taking a step back from Thurgan, she purposely places him between her and the messenger. "You breathe at the sufferance of my friends," she mutters, more to herself than anyone. If he apologizes, she doesn't hear it.

*The messenger turns to Anton.*

"Hyrag's blood, man! Didn't you just see her go berserk? Mayhap the dragon put some sort of dying curse on her--she seemed like such a nice young lass earlier."
