"Good," Cade says, as he grabs his weapons and straps them on before opening the door, "Shall we?"

[Rystil Arden]

"Good, let's go," she rubs her wrists gingerly, as if to bring back circulation.

*Cade and Sykhia head down to the common room, where there are a few people eating and drinking at various tables. When they see Sykhia, there are smiles and a resounding cheer overall and many mugs clanked together for toasts.*

 

[Bront]

"You see? There are plenty of people worried about you and glad to see you're all right."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Yes, and they're not going to let you carry me away or tie me up either, I'd wager. Can I get you something to drink?"

 

[Bront]

"I'm fine, thank you," Cade says. "I'm supprised there are so many people here so late."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Oh, sure. The odd traveler, plus a few people who like to drink. Daddy always did have a wide variety of beverages available. If you don't want anything, I think I'll get a light almond wine, and we can discuss...what is it you wanted to discuss again?" she heads over behind the counter with the authority of someone who owns the place, as she continues to listen for an answer from Cade, rummaging through some of the bottles in a back cabinet.

 

[Bront]

"Well, not sure realy. Just trying to show you we're not trying to be unpleasant and all. Perhaps you could explain to me a little more about this little situation with the lord and your father."

Cade watches to see which cabinets she went to, for he knows the man had his lab around here somewhere as well. "You know, perhaps I'll have what you're having. That sounds good."
