ooc: I thought the cargo was in the back--no? And, if the horses are encumbered, their movement goes from 40' to 30', right? Which means the same speed as the 'normal-speeded people' right? Regardless, they wouldn't get tired out unless pushed, right?
(OOC: That's basically right, but it goes from 60 to 40, forcing the carriage to take over a day to reach its destination unless they were pushed, which would tire them out and be self-defeating)

"Check for magics? Oh, that's a great idea. I do hope that spell on Sykhia from the other day is gone soon. It should only last a matter of days, hopefully," Larue continues to speak quietly, cradling Sykhia with his arm and trying to help shield her from all the noise.

Anton says to Larue, "You must have been very quick because come morning, we were in the main room downstairs."

"Yes, let's check for magics, though I was hoping for not as much to have happened before such a check."

ooc: who's our caster?

Thurgan just shook his head. All this nobility and intrigue stuff was giving him a headache. He glanced down at his trusty crossbow, then looked back to the scene before him.

'Dwarves 'er so much easier ta unnerstand,' Thurgan thought.

ooc: I was also hoping for 'more', 'fewer', or 'same number' of auras as before. Scun is being NPC'd, right? We have no PC caster?

(OOC: Oops, sorry :o Still just one aura, as reported by Erik before. You never cast it on her before. Brain is still here, but he seems to be often busy, and I figured he'd agree to cast the spell for you guys :))

ooc: Thanks, I keep forgetting who's NPC'd and who isn't. :heh: I always think of Scun as the Cleric anyway.

"Well, maybe we could have one or two people to go ahead of us, in the carriage, to expedite the process. Maybe not a good idea, but are there any volunteers?"

"You're welcome to come along if you like, but please do try to be quiet. I'm not sure how much longer Sykhia can remain asleep with all this noise, though she does seem to be quite tired."

"Odd the girl seems so tired all of a sudden, she sure as heck kept me up last night," Thurgan offered, remembering her screaming and complaining. Thurgan moved forward to shake the girl's foot. He had it in his head that there was chemicals involved in this sleep.
