ooc: Scun levels up (I'll do the figuring later, during the day)
OOC: I'd guess we're likely going to sort of pause for this. Obviously we can continue into town, but encounters could be a problem till we finish all the leveling up and stuff. Anyone still 1st other than me and likely Tandi?

ooc: Rillian levels up to 3rd. Things that changed: +10 move, rage 1/day, +2 fort save, +1 BAB, +1 Listen, Gained Survival +5, +9 HPs, Dodge.

(OOC: Heehee, all those points in Survival? Well I guess now you can go out hunting with Somac and Scun as well as help survive in the desert--good thinking :)...Wow, that triple multiclass is going to make your Will save sad though ;))

ooc: Well the bulk of his barbarian sps were always gonna go there...just particularly convenient for this adventure :D As far as the Will save goes...even a straight class char has a really bad Will save (ie +1 is not too meaningful)

A'jardin levelled as a Wizard, gaining the usuals (HP, saves), upping all class skills by one, learned Orc, learned Endure Elements and Shocking Grasp.

That's why I use fractional save bonuses for multiclassing in my games. (you get 1/3 of a point for every level of "bad" progression and 1/2 a point for every level of "good" progression, so 2 bads and a good give you an effective +1 instead of +0. On the other hand you only get the initial +2 bonus for a "good" save once, instead of once for each class that has it.) It makes multiclassing more viable and dissuades cherry picking at the same tme.

Oh, and everone levelling, don't forget to email Knight Otu and Nimisgod

(OOC: That's true. The interesting question will be what next--nab the Fighter feat or score Evasion? Always good to have a win/win decision :))

(OOC: Looks good to me...Hmm, I haven't had anyone learn Shocking Grasp since 3E. Must be the whole touch attack thing and not scaling well compared to MM, but I bet you're going for the all-four-elements thing :))

Edit: As for the saves, I clearly can't do that here ;) I sometimes give fractional saves, depending on the system and the game. I will generally never give fractional BAB though because I want someone who does something crazy (like take 12 Rogue PrCs to get the Sneak Attack at first level of each) to have to at least feel the pain of +0 BAB.

Not really, MM just doesn't scale well on the even levels :) At 2nd it still does 1d4+1 while SG does 2d6, with the potential of a crit. (at lvl 3 I'll be getting Flaming sphere, my favorite low level spell EVER)
I do like touch attacks though, especially since it doesn't discharge the spell if you miss, and the +3 to hit against metal-armored opponents is nice too :)

(OOC: Flaming Sphere? I always preferred Scorching Ray. I can't seem to ever make anyone fail the easy Reflex save for no damage on the Sphere.)
