Someone can take you to Orussus for a while, while I finish up helping another little girl just like you. Perhaps you can even stay with her and you'd both have someone to play with. When I get back, I promise, that the first thing I'll do is take you to my family and villiage. My parents can take excelent care of you, and I'll make sure to stop by and visit you often. I just want to help you Laynie, will you let me do that? If it helps, you can think of me as your big brother." Cade smiles reassuringly at Laynie.

Cade rest his hands on the Laynie's shoulders "Your Doggie is gone, and I'm sorry that he is, but that doesn't mean you should mourn him the rest of your life. Wouldn't your Doggie want you to go on and live a happy life?"

Cade pauses for a second, to let that sink in before continuing "Laynie, how'd you like to be part of my family? I know I've always wanted a little sister to watch over, and when we get to my parent's, I'm sure you'll be happy to meet Alton's brothers and sisters. My parents raise doggies. Would you like that?"
