ooc: Hey, I'm not suggesting its not possible, or even unreasonable. But since most of the party can barely hit an AC 23, its not an easy fight, so I thought Rystil might have miscalculated. By the way, Jiirgal attacked on his last action, with a +5 bonus, and hit Scun with a critical hit for 22 points of damage (ouch!).

(OOC: He doesn't have magic, and the AC is correct :) More soon. Oh, and you're right about the +5 to hit--but don't you think that might have been a bit low of an attack bonus?)
 


ooc: I... didn't realize that, no. In that case, Anton will do a jumping back/shooting thing, all Dex-like. ... Which means 5' step back and shoot him in the face. ;)
 


ooc: Twice. I'm basically doing the same thing I said originally but with a 5' step first. And make sure it's two to the face. ;)

Anton's Second Arrow 17 + 4 = 21, Hit
HobProne A takes 6 Damage, for a total of 9.

Jiigral's Attack 8 + 7 = 15, Hit.
Rillian takes 9 Damage.

HobProne B's Attack 13 + 5 = 18, Hit.
Rillian takes 5 Damage--Rillian is staggered.

Rillian will take a 5 ft step out of threat area and drink a potion of Cure Light Wounds.

(OOC: He can't get out of the threat area with a 5-foot-step--he is flanked. In fact, three out of four of the hobgoblins have attacked him--only the one attacking Anton hasn't yet. He can step to a spot where only 2 out of 3 can strike him, though, and he won't be flanked)

OOC: next action, so it doesn't slow anything down. Lance +4, +2 Charge / 1d6+3* (x2 for mounted charge) / 20X3, Charge may not be applicable if he can't do it.

OOC2: He could be defending, or using combat expertise, or have some unknown skill or magic. He's the leader, a warrior, and no fool in combat, so I don't see a potentialy high AC to be a big problem. I haven't seen him hit yet either.
Slight change, he'll charge one of the hobgoblins surrounding Rillan (not Jiiral)
