*The group reaches Briarton at noon the next day, presumably just after the hobgoblins arrived. The little town sits at the confluence of two small streams, perhaps barely large enough to be called rivers but not so much for anyone to really care about them, and the most notable thing about it is that half of it has been notably razed to the ground, perhaps a week or two ago, the half towards the bank of the southern of the two little rivers. Notable buildings in town include a town hall, an inn, a small temple, and a mill on the northern river, though it looks like there once was a mill in the south and maybe another temple and a few other important buildings, but they are gone. Other than that, there are a few homes and a shop or two for simple crafts that are useful in rural areas, like coopers and cobblers, rather than weaponsmiths.*

*The sharp-eyed among the group spot a few hobgoblins waiting around outside of town hall, though Jiigral is nowhere in sight.*

(OOC: The group is currently approaching the town from the east but has not yet entered. Let me know the game plan )

"Well, we can wait till they are done at the town hall, and then approach him for the armor and gear. I see no need to interupt them." Cade says.

"Agreed, no need to interrupt anyone's business. Let's either wait outside of town or find something else to do until they are finished."

After surveying the wreckage in the town from their current distant location, Somac comments dryly, "I s'pose that's the work of the bad doggie."
