One move to get to swim to the wheel, you still need two moves to get back up and used standard to attack so you are still in the water.

We'll keep the same rolls for next round.

Also, at F0 Primera wouldn't have been adjacent to anyone beside the Max so the extra healing would have been wasted. G0 means it was adjacent to Rocco before he moved.
[/sblock]

[sblock=Haruka]E1 was taken by Rocco. G1 instead.[/sblock]

[sblock=Dante]You started in the water so one move sees you hanging to the wheel (where Rocco was)

wheel damage (1d10=5)
[/sblock]

The Kraken snatches two more preys from the deck; Rocco and Haruka. But the warlock's power ignites in reaction and push back the Kraken, forcing it to relinquish its hold on three victims. Furious, it sprays its venom accross the deck but fail to cause injury.

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: Coils of Doom, X2 attacks including Rocco
vs Rocco (1d20+15=25, 2d8+5=12)
vs Haruka (1d20+15-2=24, 2d8+5=19)

Reflexive fire triggers, push kraken 3 square, loses grab (reach was 3)

Move and Minor: Venom Bolt X2
vs For 1:Haruka 2:Ashir (1d20+13=16, 2d8+4=10, 1d20+13=17, 2d8+4=16)

consider those actions delayed until Rocco and Dante move

I was going with assumption that Dante will end up in G1 (safe spot) and Rocco in E1 in which case my move is perfectly legal as I delayed the action. Sorry if it caused any confusion, I wasn't sure I'll be able to post today

Max flings his shield at the beast. The shield misses and returns back to the warlord.

[sblock=actions]
minor: none
movement: none

"Everyone, step back from the railing and out of reach of the beast! Primera, block it!"

With a barely heard whinny, Primera rushes toward the kraken just as Nementah appears on the wheel above the board.

"Now, hit it while it's busy!"

[sblock=Actions]
Move: Nementah goes up on the wheel and gets LoS to the kraken
Move: Primera at sea level in the middle of the kraken, two squares left from where she's now on the map. Nementah goes onboard.

Interrupt:
[sblock=Infectious Spark]
(Encounter Immediate Interrupt Melee spirit 1 ✦ Implement, Primal, Psychic, Spirit)
Target: Triggering enemy
Trigger: SC is hit a melee attack
Attack: +8 vs Will
Hit: 1d8+5 psychic damage and the target makes melee basic attack against the enemy of Nementah's choosing. SC dissapears and Nementah takes no damage from the dissapearance.

I choose that KRAKEN HITS HIMSELF (it is not prohibited and it doesn't say another enemy)

[sblock=OOC] How does 5th level expertise bonus work on L4W? I know there was a discussion, but I don't know the outcome...because, whatever it is, it nets Rocco +1 to hit which I didn't use in this encounter...

On related note, does anyone have WoTC subscription to check new expertize feats for me?

I will go with plain +1 now ([MENTION=834]Mal Malenkirk[/MENTION] if you disagree, simply treat all rolls as one less)

Also, magic thrown weapon returns? That didn't get errata-ed did it?
[/sblock]

Rocco swings mightily and his axe dissapears into the flesh of the monster only to reappear moment later in his hand. Using the momentum of his swing, he retreats from the railing.

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: RBA vs Kraken AC; damage (1d20+11+2=24, 1d6+6+4=11) - shift to F2, gain +2 bonus to AC and Reflex TSNT- MARK!
[/sblock]

Renquist leaves the acidic tar and slime and runs up over the quarter deck to the edge of the railing.

Finding himself at Haruka's side again, he comments, "Of course he doesn't protect me. I don't follow him. I'm his minion. For all I know, I'm here to save your dark soul. ...but I doubt that..."

He grabs hold of the holy symbol around his neck and waits in anticipation for the return of the kraken to the ship.

"If you don't help me know, I say forget you Lauto." (ooc: Major League movie reference...PG version)

[sblock=actions] Start: Take 5 damage.
Move: Move to I-1
Standard: Ready action: If kraken moves within 3 squares use Hallowed Circle. Attack is close burst 3 vs enemies +8 vs Reflex, 2d6+5 damage and creates a zone of holy energy 3x3. Allies in the zone have +1 all defenses. Not sure if I roll now or Mal rolls if the Kraken moves closer?

Haruka stares blankly at Renquist as the black fire of her power dies around her. "That is how you see your patron? I think... I think that we may have more in common than I am comfortable with." Frowning slightly, Haruka releases another destructive lance into the kraken, this one finding its mark. With a shrug, she moves to the other side of the deck, preparing for the beast's return.

[sblock=actions]Standard: Eldritch Bolt the kraken. Hits Reflex 22 for 24 force damage. I think I've been forgetting about White Lotus Riposte, but if the kraken attacks me before the start of my next turn, it takes 5 more force damage.
