Adventure: Just Before Nightfall (DM:johnmeier1, Judge:Ozymandias79)

The vampire staggers under the blows and freezes in the cold. He roars I shall bury you! and slams a fist into Tonk, knocking the half-orc back. He steps forward and slams both fists into the rubble behind him. The rocks cascade down upon him and those close by, opening massive wounds on the vampire but not dropping him. With Tonk and Larinza's blood streaming down from their wounds, his face lights up with hunger and his eyes gleam red again with menace. Large rocks and stones cover the floor.

[sblock=mechanics] The vampire will use his second action point. First a single powerful slam against Tonk 1d20+10-2=24 (vs AC) for 2d6+5=12 damage. Then he shifts forward and activates a rockslide in burst 3 (catching Tonk Larinza Murphy) while he automatically takes full damage of 17 only Larinza is hit (the other two take half). The area is now difficult terrain (marked on the map as shaded rock)

Those 3 can try a DC 25 Nature or Dungeoneering check to take reduce the damage (but I don't think anyone has enough skill)

All PCs can go now, he may not get to go again :)

Murphy just smiles as the vampire closes the gap towards him, even as the rocks pummel him, Murphy's filled with resolve from Larinza's demonstration earlier in the battle and shrugs off the worst effects. Wiping a bit of blood from his split lip, the assassin takes a step forward into Larinza's shadow, and disappears. He steps out of the vampire's own shadow and quickly draws his dagger, attempting to stab the creature in the back.

Forgot Dextyr's +1 to hit so should be AC 20 for 26 damage. Damage comes from (4 dex, 4 nightstalker benefit, 1 talon amulet (attacking with CA), 3 (adjacent creatures). If it misses 1 damage from shroud... :.-(

"Stand tall my friends for Victory is near" Dextyr calls out, and sends a wave of healing magic towards Larinza. With a grin on his face he looks at the vampire. "It looks like you will be going back in your coffin for good" he taunts the vampire, while continuing his battle hymn.

Tonk brains the vampire with his mace. [Standard: Clever Strike v. AC (1d20+8+2=27); 1d8+5+2d6+1=19 damage.]

Shorrin moves toward the girl. He walks rather slowly, as he is unwilling to let a vampire sneak up on him. His eyes dart everywhere; the floor, the ceiling, even going to far as to cast a quick look behind some of the small debris.
