Adventure: Just Before Nightfall (DM:johnmeier1, Judge:Ozymandias79)

The vampire looks around, trapped, he howls a feral roar and the final spawn comes scuttling down the pillar. It charges Tonk and while the half-orc is momentarily distracted, the vampire bites into his shoulder. The claws of his spawn rake Tonk's back. The lord drinks briefly with hunger still on his face and laughs aloud at those around him. He strides away, heedless of the threat. Stop that infernal racket he yells at Dextyr, but as the red fades from his eyes the bard seems unfazed.

Blood drain 1d20+11=20 (vs Tonk Fortitude) for 1d12+2=10 damage and he heals 1/4 hitpoints. Tonk is weakened TENT. The vampire spawn crits (minion crit) for 7 necrotic damage.
Tonk and Murphy each get a AoO when he moves.
Then he will use Dominating Gaze on Dextyr 1d20+9=14 (vs Will) misses
Can you finish him off?

As the vampire moves away from him, Murphy slashes with his small blade at the departing foe. His attack is laughable at best. He does call two more shadows to the vampire as Murphy moves carefully across the rubble. He then dives into Larinza's shadow and reappears between Dextyr and Janus.

"Miss me guys?" he asks with a grin as he drops the ineffective dagger and picks up his enchanted bastard sword.

Tonk growls, swinging at the departing vampire and smashing him in the ribs. [Opportunity Attacks: 1d20+8=24 v. AC, 1d8+5=12 damage -- and Tonk heals 4 damage.]

"You no stop me, stupid person who hurt girl! I no quit no matter what!"

Tonk takes another swing, this time at the vampire spawn, but misses.
 

Janus jumps two feet in the air as Murphy materializes between him and his iBard.
Startling as it was Janus still manages to get a spell off despite his heart missing more than a few beats.

I have been trying to represent the vampire's powers as recharging when he changes, currently his eyes are not red so he doesn't seem able to Dominate, but he has a hungry look so he may be able to drain blood.

Feeling brave Dextyr strides towards the vampire with longsword in hand. He swings at the vampire, but seems distracted while continuing the battle hymn and misses the target.
