[Adventure] Kingmaker (DM:renau1g; judge: garyh)

The kobolds look around nervously as there are suddenly even more large (to them at least) humanoids armed with large weapons.

"Your friend? You are friend with food? I think you crazy, they are so good tasting over a spit. Hey! That's an idea, we cook your friend with these excellent radishes and we all eat it together?" the kobold (apparent) leader suggests.

"He's not food...bloody hell, Elurin, would you show them please? I think the jig is bloody well up."

She shakes her head and looks at the leader. "He's just cautious. We've no designs on your radishes, delicious as they may be. We're just scouting, exploring, the usual. So I expect you gents have a village or somesuch around here then?"

"Oh, we don't live in a villiage, we live underground" one in the back says, to which their leader shoots a dirty look.

"Idiot, she's trying to get you to say where we live, don't listen." he hisses then turns back to Ezmerelda. "No, he's suffering from radish poisoning, very dangerous if you eat too many. We got seperated from our tribe long while ago, some scary humans with beards and scars and everything, they came and killed everyone. We were smart and ran." he states.

OOC: sorry! I have not gotten an email from this subscription since March 27. I was checking the forum everyday for awhile and no one had posted so I let my vigilance lapse.

The druid stands up on his hind legs, while his front legs reform into arms.
You will have to work harder for your dinner than that!

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger of Lauto

Faustus grins evilly, baring his fangs at the skittish goblin, but makes no [other] threatening moves. "Demons? Where?" The tiefling takes out a small mirror. Looking at his own reflection, he visibly blanches and says, "Criminy! I am a flippin' demon!" He then begins to laugh uproariously, so impressed is he with his own humor.

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger of Lauto

"What do you think, Ezzie? Are we in the 'kobold-relocation' business today, or the 'kobold-eradication business'? 'Cause I might feel a taste for some radishes coming on...." Instinctively, Faustus tests the weight of his maul, being comforted again by its skull-crushing heft.
