Kavac feels strangely at home on the mountain even though he spent most of his life on a boat. He confidently strides ahead and sees the easiest path up the mountain. He appears to be sweating more than before and isn't marching ahead quite as fast. "This is much better than that jungle," says Kavac with an out of place smile.

As you spend the next few hours climbing the hills exhausted and feverish, you look behind you and see the orange light of the evening sun descending into the sea of trees from which you emerged. The jungle stretches on to the west into the horizon, and you are amazed that anyone would build any kind of civilization out here.

As the light of the day fades, you find a level spot on the foothills with a good view of your surroundings for a campsite. If Manley's predictions were accurate, it shouldn't be far now.

GM: Everyone may make an extended rest. Roll your endurance checks (with a +2 bonus) and heal checks for the disease. Remember that you may use whichever one rolls better. Also Someone, I guess if you want to Overhaul your character, now would be a good time.

[sblock=Sanzuo only]Given that you must choose who you are treating for disease before the extended rest and both Heal and Endurance checks are made after, it's obvious that the best way to simulate it in pbp would be to wait until the Heal roll is made (or adjudicated, since a couple players already did that in their skill challenge post) to make the Endurance check. I'll post my check here just in case so I'm sure not to delay the thread. EDIT: heal check 11[/sblock]

GM: I think it would be quickest if everyone just rolled a heal and endurance check at the same time. Then I'll figure out who's heal needs to go where.
