The party turns to the animated shed snake skin, now coiled around Brenwar, crushing him. It is quickly hacked and smashed to pieces amidst bursts of psionic energy, freeing the paladin.
The Serpent, now without his armor and more vulnerable than before, makes a fast strike at Brenwar, but cannot pierce his thick armor with its fangs. It decides it has had enough and makes a clumsy attempt to escape, heading towards the tunnel on the east side of the room. Brenwar, Kavac and Karma make equally clumsy attempts to stop it.
