[Adventure] KOGANÙSAN (DM: Sanzuo, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

OOC: Don't worry about me, I don't mind being trapped by the creatures.

I vote we focus fire on the snake skin and then deal with the other creature.

Brenwar manages to free an arm from the demonic snake skin long enough to swing his war hammer into what was the creature's head. As he hits he finishes a prayer to Palladys' renewing the ethereal owl that had begun to fade.

OOC: Hmm, that's annoying. Isn't it either acrobatics vs. ref or athletics vs. fort to escape? If so I'll retcon my move into one of them (not like I can make either but I will try).

OOC: You hit this turn anyway, and with some luck the skin should die this round with Kavac and Shrakk attacks. Halleck needs however some healing before his round though or he'll drop from the poison before having a chance to do anything.

Karma stands alone on top of the dais, using his superior height he pinpoints a place to safely blast the two monstrosities from. Following that he calls a prayer of healing on his poisoned colleague.

[sblock=Mid-air Teleport]I'll concede to that even though I think it's cheesy. But in this case the enemy won't take damage, and here's why:

Code:
Side View
X = Snake's Space
. = Open Air
- = Floor/Ceiling
----------
.....XX...
.....XX...
..........
----------

The snake is a large creature, which in 3 dimensions is 2x2x2 cube. The room is 3 squares high, and the snake occupies 2 squares of altitude. So even if the snake gets teleported to the top, it can only fall 1 square or 5 feet. This isn't enough to deal damage since you take 1d10 damage every 10 feet you fall.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] As it is a large creature it uses up two squares vertically as well as horizontally. Therefore If I target an area burst above them in a 3 square high room, I can hit both the large creatures but not any of the medium ones.[/sblock]

Halleck stood bravely against the snake's vicious attack. With blood pouring from his neck, he protested still, "Is... that... all..." and then collapsed to the ground.

OOC: With 20 damage AND 5 ongoing damage, Halleck is dying as soon as his turn starts.

HELP!

OOC: Duh! Sorry about that. I was skimming before work. Thanks for the save!

Halleck staggered back, about to fall, but Karma's words revitalized him. While the venom still burned, the troubadour did not show it.
