[sblock=OOC]Just to let you know, I'll be out of town for a bit after today. I should still be able to post fairly regularly, but just in case I can't, please NPC Carolina accordingly.[/sblock]
Right...got it Kruk moves to the far right and does his best to creep forward past the statue. As he moves he grips his axe and shield...just in case. As he moves closer to the statue he can't help but gaze at the axe. Talking to himself Easy Kruk...stay focussed!...by Greggor's silver beard...I've never seen an axe so splended and beautiful!...Greggor!...did I say Greggor...Oh Greggor!...I'm com'n for ya...hold on friend...KRUK...STAY FOCUSSED!
ooc: stealth roll: 1d20-1 = 10

Well, if it's not too late, I did want to do Hergunna's ritual. Probably won't be enough to help poor Kruk... but I'll go ahead and roll it, if Tenchuu doesn't mind it being slightly "out of order".
(results) Oh well, just a +5 to stealth from ritual. (needed to roll 18+ to get +10). Hergunna's own result (with ritual) is 27.
Too bad, this is a quite sneaky party - except for the dwarf. Naturally!
"Wait", Hergunna says. "Let me try a spell to help some of us" - she eyes Kruk meaningfully - "keep a little bit quieter."
After her ritual the druid tries to move across the room to join Carolina, sticking to the shadows.
Sorry, was overworked AND trying to complete a huge encounter for the L4W games I run.
So if I understand correctly, Carolina found teh axe we are looking for? Why doesn't she just takes it and come back? (with a thievery check to counter potential traps)
Did I forgot something? Why does everyone have to risk that watch tower thing?
[sblock=OOC] Maybe Charina needs to be the voice of reason. I assumed that there may be some problems when the axe is removed that we would have to all deal with. Or maybe Wil is just suspicious of the Cause/Effect of the axe/etc. For example: we don't see the "boss" of those outside.[/sblock]
Kane follows along not far behind the dwarf, his own excitement for more "fun" keeps him from moving quietly. The bugbear has to suppress giggles of excitement and does a poor job of it.
So, let me solve the problem by coming clean a bit and proposing a compromise.
I spent a lot of time on this map, so something is going to happen. The question is, where will your character's be when it happens, and I want to give you all the fairest chance to have a say in that.
So, please post your moves to any place on the big map. Include any relevant skill rolls (For example, stealth. If you have already rolled it, we'll use that). I will execute those moves (and any associated actions) in the following order, as presented by Wil: Carolina, Charina, Kane, Hergunna, Wil, Kruk.
Since Carolina already moved and expressed a reluctance to personally grab the axe, her move is done unless she posts again.
