Kruk grunts and then shifts his eyes quickly from one ally to the next as he grips his shield and axe even more tightly. Let's go! There's now time to lose now! Kruk can't hide his worried expression on his face as he thinks about his friend.

If everyone is rested we can indeed proceed. The steed remains, but take heed: The villain is about his deed and we must quickly intercede. Wil smiles and shows an eagerness for the coming fight.

GM: And, what do you plan on doing with Alaria? Kill her, tie her up, cut her loose, drag her along...?

ooc: kruk spends 3 surges to get to max. He's now down to 6.

Okay lass. I'm gonna ask you a question. If you lie, I'll kill you on the spot. I wont be able to tell, but others in my party will. Here's the question. What do we do with you? It is clear to me that the boss you is gone. If this bothers you, would you join us in killing those responsible for your loss?

Kruk looks at the rest of his party. Errr...I guess I should have ask you guys first...hmmmf...sorry all. I don't know...the thought just popped in my head. Maybe she could teleport the badguys like she did to me. Kruk grimmaces at the thought.

"I.... Look, I don't want to die, and if I say no, I'm afraid you'll kill me, but what do you think they will do to a traitor? Please, just let me go. I'll... I'll do whatever you want. I just don't want to die," She pleaded.

OOC: She's not bluffing you. Doesn't mean she won't do something you don't like later, but right now she's not planning anything devious. I'll just let you guys say what you are doing. I appoint Dimsdale to have the final say, since no seems to really care. Just let me know before your next post.

The Adventurers pressed ahead into the mine. Quickly but quietly the navigated the empty tunnels, following murmurs. As they drew closer, the discontent voices grew louder, but still indistinct.

Charina took the point, peaking around a dark corner into a small chamber. A dozen beaten workers were sitting in the room, talking amongst themselves in hushed tones. One man stood guard, spear in hand, with his back to the rogue. With percision, she fired a single bolt through the man's throat, and Kane rushed in after to finish the guard off.

The prisoners looked with shock and fear. Kruk came into the room, and his eyes met Greggor's.

"Kruk!? Gods below, is that you?"

"No, I not want to just kill you little bird, even if you try hard to kill Kane. I don't want you with me either, too many sneaky people here already, have to watch back always, never let anyone stick the knife there. Hurts too much." the bugbear blathers, "Maybe you go and think about what you did, the not nice stuff, and go see Mr. Lord Byron to say sorry for stealing his silver." he adds.

Wil stows his bow and walks slowly towards the other prisoners with a finger to his lips. Shhh, we need to get you out of here before there is more violence. He motions for them to come with him.

OOC: Too bad we don't have a deadbeat player in this game to send the prisoners out with their PC

"More Violence is sure to come. They had us diggin a whole deep into the mine, into some ancient demon temple," Greggor said. "No doubt they are only keeping us here now to use as sacrifices."

Kruk hears the sounds of a familiar voice, then spots Greggor. Tears well up in his eyes. He charges his friend and gives him a massive bear hug. I...I though you were dead. Good to see you my friend. Are you okay? What's this about a sacrifice. We'll make sure that doesn't happen. Are you or the others strong enough to fight if the going gets rough?

Charina stands quietly in the back, blending into the shadows.
