Ferris rounds the corner, following the group and sighs when he sees what the corridor contains..."I hate these things..." he mutters as he calls down Dayna's wrath upon the nearest shadow creature.

[sblock=Rolls] Initiative: 19

Surprise action: Lance of Faith upon RT4: 1d20+5=25:CRIT! , 1d8+4=12 RADIANT damage[/sblock]

[sblock=Jezebel] You have +2 to hit RT4 this turn if he isn't already dead [/sblock]

FIRST THE WALLS, NOW THE SHADOWS! Sir Exsixten shouts as he cuts a shadowy tendril in half. BRACE YOURSELVES CITIZENS, EVERYTHING HERE THAT MOVES OR DOESN'T NEEDS TO BE MADE MORE DEAD!

[sblock=Immediate Interrupt]The first time a non-minion enemy would miss Sir Exsixten if his AC were 2 higher, Piecemeal Chainmail triggers and makes it miss.[/sblock]

[sblock=Retraining]I retrained Bell Ringer for Hack and Hew as my level 1 retraining. No other changes.[/sblock]

I don't think we are taking turns yet, are we?

Also me and Metavoid should coordinate our AOE on the same targets probably, since those things can take 2 hits (or at least could in the last encounter.)[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] Well, Pac said we get a surprise round, so I figured why wait :) Then we can do our regular turns after Initiative is resolved. [/sblock]

I'll wait to post to see if the enemies die from the attacks, or if they come back because of a power.

By the way, I don't trust the ones on the same square as the skeletons. They might bring them back.

Mini Update

Ferris calls on Dayna's ire, piercing one of the tendrils with holy light and causing it to dissolve.

Sir Exsixten charges headlong into the fray, swinging his war axe at another tendril, but the weapon passes through harmlessly, leaving the writhing shadows intact.

[sblock=Mini-update]Sir Exsixten also has 4 temp hitpoints for hitting with a melee attack (Battlerage Vigor feature).[/sblock]

Are they undead? That is, if I use rebuke undead, will it have the effect on the shadows? I don't remember from the last combat, I'll check tomorrow if nobody clarifies it
Religion; Arcana (1d20+11=16, 1d20+9=22)

Combat post probably late tomorrow.

BACKTRACK: "Jezebel, it seems this would be water temple, as there is built-in water channel inside."
History roll (1d20+6=22)

EDIT: there's no time like the present

Cyr calls the fury of the heavens into disturbed tomb, snaking lightning explodes over enemies in second line. One shadow timely dissapears only to reappear safely in a moment. Lightning seems subdued, maybe being underground is not really conductive to powers of the sky.

Vanguard's lightning at -C59 vs. RT1, RT7, left skeleton, right skeleton (1d20+7=10, 1d20+7=18, 1d20+7=21, 1d20+7=23)
Vanguard Lightning damage (1d6+6=7)
