[Adventure] Murder Most Foul! (Judge: EvolutionKB)

Hasifar turns into the dark sceptical creature he becomes when a battle arises. He moves next to the sorcerer, and with his dagger drawn, he cleaves the man with it. As Hasifar punctuates Ladoran with his knife, chilling magic traveled through the blade towards the insides of the man, causing havoc in his internal organs.

Ladoran looks blandly at Hasifar as the cold barely seeps into him. It's possible that he has strong protective magics in place.

"Be serious. I hardly even felt that. You are no match for me. I like the new look though. Very sharp." Ladoran toys with Hasifar.

[sblock=Voda Vosa]
I need to know which square Hasifar is moving to.

Also, could you put all of your actions and bonuses and other relevant for this round game elements in an sblock? For example, Hasifar gets a +1 to attack next round due to Arcane Spellfury, so please put that into the sblock so that I can add it to my summary sheet and we all don't forget.

Thanks.

Tirial looks at the foe in anger, her eyes flaring red as yet another creature on this plane betrayed her. Memories flooded back into her mind of her brother's face as those bandits ran him through with their blades, then she pictured this man, no this monster, doing the same to another. She sprang into action, moving quickly away from him and spreading out from here allies, the eladrin took aim with her bow. With speed that would put even an elemental to shame, her arm reached back into her quiver and in the blink of an eye two arrows followed each other, streaking towards the target. Her rage not yet satisfied, she continued her assault, rage fueling her on as she unleashed a primal roar, amazing out of such a delicate thing, and another pair of arrows flew forth from Tirial.

As a reminder, nobody has a weapon or implement out.

It costs a minor to do so, so everyone should probably state:

Minor: Draw weapon (implement)

as their first action.

Tirial will need to stay where she is if she wants to accomplish all of that.

Also note that the table and chairs will provide cover for any attacks going through those squares. I should have mentioned that in my previous summary block.

Sorry about that...brain's not working today or something. I've changed the hunter's quarry to draw bow, drops damage by 6, but I figure she needs to get away from him. I'm still good with the current spot, so she'll have cover from him also[/sblock]

Boruuk's ears were ringing as the man landed with the terrible sound, the goliath reacted slowly. His allies already began a counter-attack against this man before the warrior could even draw his axe.

Moving closer to him, Boruuk pulls the blade out and slams it down hard on his foe, although he leaves himself a bit open with the wild swing. "Face me!" Boruuk roars, drawing the man's attention.

Tirial is completely caught off guard by the blast, but she's very agile and manages to roll to her feet.

Knoepf wipes blood from his mouth with his forearm and stares angerly at the host. "That was a mistake. You will pay for that."

"He's a sorcerer! Surround 'im, don't let 'im cast spells!" Hasifar yells

Artemus, without a word, move around the table and attack Larodan. But the man easily dodge his two swings.

Her rage not yet satisfied, she continued her assault, rage fueling her on as she unleashed a primal roar, amazing out of such a delicate thing, and another pair of arrows flew forth from Tirial.

Two of her arrows hit solidly.

Knoepf steadies himself with eyes still closed "It will take more than that to so myself and my comrades spellcaster," wincing in pain as he speaks. He then mumbles a chant. As he does so silver flames shoot from his cane into his body bringing him heath, strength and vigor. He then opens his eyes and locks them in on his target and begins to sing, barely audible at first, but then becoming louder and louder, much to the sorcerer's dismay.

But as Knoepf moves away, Ladoran strikes like a snake with a thrust to his throat. But a timely arrow by Tirial forces the hit to glance off Knoepf's armor instead. "Wait your turn girl. I'll be with you shortly. Ladoran shouts to Tirial. Boruuk takes his opportunity to get in a swing.

Turning back at the interruption "You think I cannot face you young bull? Ladoran asks Boruuk.

"You all think I am some minor hedge wizard incapable of hand to hand combat who must rely on spells? I do not even need the crutch of a weapon like you do. And you left yourself wide open fool. What an amateur mistake against one such as I." Ladoran quickly matches his words with a left jab to Boruuk's midsection, a right to Boruuk's ribs, and then an unexpected head butt to the face. Boruuk has never before seen such a whirlwind of speed and power from an unarmed smaller man. It's as if he got hit with a mace instead of a hand.

"After Sar night's killing, I will be a god and you will all be dead! Ladoran says, his voice rising.

[sblock= OOC]
Artemus misses with both attacks.

Hasifar hits for 15.

Tirial hits with two attacks for 19 and 14.

Boruuk hits for 16.

Knoepf heals himself for 31, misses with Hymn of Resurgence, and moves away. Everyone gets 5 temp hit points (since saving throws are not yet needed).

Ladoran takes an Opportunity Attack at Knoepf for moving.

Tirial hits with Disruptive Strike for 19.

Ladoran misses Knoepf due to the -6 for Tirial’s interrupt and with the -2 for Boruuk’s Combat Challenge (dimsdale, I rolled huge to hit on this swing and missed by 1, you needed both of these to help Knoepf ;) ).

Boruuk gets to roll a Combat Challenge free attack.

Ladoran hits Boruuk for 7, 7, and 8. 5 are stopped by temp hp.

Ladoran 83 marked
Artemus 37/39, 5 temp hp
Hasifar 26/41, 5 temp hp, +1 to hit Ladoran next attack
Tirial 32/45, 5 temp hp, +1 to attacks and def TENT (armor)
Boruuk 19/51 bloodied, CA to Ladoran TENT
Knoepf 39/40

Table: Difficult terrain plus an Athletics or Acrobatics to get over it, if the skill check fails, the terrain is equal to 2 extra squares instead of 1 extra square. Once on the table, moving along the top or off of table is not difficult terrain. Provides cover if the character is not in the same square.

Chair: Difficult terrain and provides cover if the character is not in the same square.

Knoepf Hymn of Resurgence note: The knocked prone is not to the end of the next turn, that was an earlier errata typo. It's the -2 to all defenses which is to the end of the next turn. January errata:

"Hit: The target takes a –2 penalty to all defenses until the end of your next turn. When any ally hits the target before the end of your next turn, the target is knocked prone."

Tirial Veteran's Armor note: You forgot to mention this. I just happened to see it. I won't every time.

Everyone note: Yes, I would like everyone to mention bonuses, TENT effects, everything that could affect the combat in your Action sblock next to your action declarations so that they don't get dropped on the floor, even if they are in your stat block or on your character sheet. I spent extra time tonight looking at everyone's character sheets to make sure I didn't miss anything (and I still might have), but as a general rule I will not.

Note: For those of you who do not know, Eberron has different names of days. It is currently early Zor (Thursday) afternoon and Ladoran is speaking about killing on Sar (Saturday) night.

It's Artemus' turn.

"Woooh" Knoepf shouts as Ladoran's lethal attack fails only by inches. "Thank you Tirial! I owe you one." He then states with boldly and with emotion, clearly feeling the power silver flame with in him, "Let's rid this world of this foul being once and for all!"
