"They just took Sigarr into a tent nearby, unconscious. Lots of goliaths outside, getting armed. Maybe a battle is about to happen? One of them was pointing up at something in the sky, but I couldn't see what."

Raiyek thinks for a second, trying to remember something. "Didn't see our equipment anywhere, it's probably in a tent. The leader's, I would guess. And I didn't see any weapons lying around; we would have to overpower some of the goliaths or find our equipment in order to arm ourselves."

He frowns. "I don't think it wise to fight these goliaths without weapons or armor of any kind. Maybe we should wait and see if a battle erupts. If it does, we might be able to use it as a distraction so we can find our gear. Unless someone has a better plan." By the look he gives the group, it's clear he hopes someone does.

I was thinking the same thing. Let them kill themselves off. Better to fight them downed then at full strength. I agree with waiting. If one or two do come back, we can fight him in here instead of outside. That way we won't be noticed. Does anybody know what tribe of goliaths these are?

The group wait, listening to outside commotion. After a few minutes, they hears sounds of battle. People are shouting, steel is meeting steel, wood or flesh. The scent of blood and death quickly feel the air. At some time, some draft of air make the tent shivering before it stay still again.

Suddenly, a Goliath enter the tent, dragging a nearly death Goliath, watching outside for any threat that could come to him, completely ignoring the captive in the tent, not even aware the group have freed themselves.

[SBLOCK=Perception DC:27]As the doorway quickly open and close as the Goliath enter the tent, you spot a group of Goliath ganging up to fight an Angel[/SBLOCK]

Raiyek immediately freezes when the goliath bursts into the tent, checking over their new guest and his dying companion.

The paladin glances at his companions out of the corner of his eyes to see if they are getting ready to attack or not.

Incarnation takes his cues from others, trying to see anything of note and point it out to Hadrak.
OOC: Try to use his roll to aid Hadrak's when [MENTION=834]Mal Malenkirk[/MENTION] rolls: 22

-''Yeah, yeah, Carny, I see that dirty oil stain near the door. It does look a little like Raiyek. Can't we focus on more important things?'' whispers Hadrak to Incarnantion. ''My hands are free, let's fry that Goliath and get out of here!''

Suddenly, Hadrak invokes a bolt of searing light that hits the Goliath jailer between the eyes.

-''Come on! Get him!''

OOC: I assumed combat advantage in that +17 attack. Might not have my symbol so maybe it's 3 lower.

If it hits, the Goliath is blind 'til the end of next turn.

A precise bolt and Hadrak get down the freshest Goliath. The second, seeing his companion, try to shout for help, but with his lack of strength and the sounds of battle, he cannot be heard by people outside and the group quickly neutralize him.

A quick search allow the group to find only two greatclub and two hide armor. The weapons are crude and the armor are big but can be quickly fitted on anyone.

The gods are with you, Hadrak! Now may they see us through the night.

Dane dons the hide armor, sniching it down in the appropriate areas. He then hefts one of the greatclubs over his right shoulder. He then hunches near the door way, waiting to attack any other goliaths that come in.

Go now or wait for some for them to kill themselves off some more?

"Indeed," agrees Raiyek. "The fact we ended up on land at all shows the gods' favour."

The paladin grabs one of the greatclubs as well, then summons his armor as he stands watch while the others don the hide armor. He peeks through the flap of the tent occasionally to make sure there are no more surprise guests on the way, and to check the progress of the battle.
[sblock=OOC]Bah, where was that perception roll earlier! :p[/sblock]
