OOC: ronakshah2000: I think I can field this one: No. The dragon's stat block says "Hover" under its Movement heading, so it will simply hover when immobilized. If he didn't have "Hover", he would fall.


That's not to say that immobilization is wasted effect. Keeping him still means he can be hit with melee weapons. Especially if he's only at elevation 2.


Halcyon's cloak floats through the air, and comes to light smartly on Mikara's shoulders, smothering the flames that threatened to engulf her. Mikara poses, "How do I look? Tre chic, non?" She sticks her tongue out in the fire elemental's general direction.

OOC: and I got this one, at elevation 2 it can be hit with melee, therefore I doubt it has threat reach, however regular reach is up for speculation.


Curious patrons inside the Hanged Man check the windows, watching with rapt fascination, as the battle unfolds in front of them.

Meanwhile residents of Daunton flee the scene with all the diligence of rats from a sinking ship.

Window shutters and doors slam, and then creak open a crack, as more spectators sneak peaks. Poe Eyez, street children who act as informants for the locals, watch from positions of relative safety.

The clatter of boot on street, the roar of the fire elemental, and the babbling of the water elemental fill the air.

Close ranks Dante, fall back! I'd rather not blow you up, but I will, make no mistake, I'll blow you sky high if it means blowing them up too. Gilgamesh looks serious, though he doesn't seem to be able to keep eye contact, as he looks everywhere but at Dante.

OOC: If Dante steps one square east of where he is, it opens up bursts for all the AoE people. Gilgamesh would like to place an auto-damage wall from P19-O19, and if Dante is adjacent, he'll take that auto-damage as well.
 

Yishim, flanked by a dragon and fire elemental, wisely steps out of the way. Seeing a number of his enemies further down the street, he cannot resist tempting the fire elemental's wrath and incants a spell.

Tentacles of dire shadow leaves and undead arms creep from the ground, grasping at the leader hobgoblin and toying with teh structure of the water elemental. Two hobgoblin grunts shriek and fall dead of fear, while the sleeping swordsman's own body is wracked in pain. They are all unable to shake off the sudden change in terrain, and find their progress slowed.

Yishim grunts in frustration, however as both the fire elemental and another swordsman shake off the illusion. The tentacles continue to writhe, however, promising pain and hardship to anyone who dares enter.
OOC: The area from N18 to R20 is writhing in tentacles, and anyone entering the area will be slowed and take 5 damage

Upon missing with an illusion power I call on Orb of Deception to redirect to Swordsman at L19, with a +2 but miss.[/sblock]

OOC: Okay, I'll proceed with this turn as I have no problems reaching the wyrmling.


Artemis cries out as Sound takes a solid blow, "Don't falter Sound of Stone! Think of your clutch mates, make them proud!" These are more than bold words, as the Thri Kreen finds himself infused with power.

"Fight on friends, these hobgoblins just need a reminder of what happens to those who try to prey on the weak!" He takes the slash from the dragon, but then smiles grimly, "Don't let them intimidate you!"
He steps in and deals the dragon not one, but two savage slashes, pushing it closer to his allies.

The air surrounding Lenard begins to chill as he summons the forces of elemental frost to attack his enemies. A faintly visible ball of cold forms in his hands, which he lobs at the swordsman in front of him. He misaims however, and the frostball immediately dissipates into nothingness when it hits the ground. Lenard sighs, mildly frustrated by the failure of one of his more powerful spells.
