Quagmire stretches.
"Right. Enough chit-chat, I s'pose. Hrav, you wanna check out that hallway to the north? Make sure there's nobody just around the corner, like."
[sblock=plans]
Move our way north then east: Coat closet, the guard rooms (just to make sure they're searched), the three rooms above the guard room, then the eastern side.
We may want to take a peak down that open hallway to make sure there is nothing coming while we open doors.
Those both seem wise. Thus:
1) we search the rooms where the last fight was. In general for searching rooms, I'm happy for P8008 to do the rolls for us, if any rolls are needed. I always find it a bit silly when the party spams perception checks all over the place when entering every room. I'd rather just have it understood that, unless there's a good and obvious reason not to (e.g. attack, imminent collapse of the building, etc.) that we always search the room, and have the DM make any rolls needed.
2) Hrav sneaks up and has a peek around the corner to the east-running hall, just to see if there's anyone lurking in sight.
3) Look in the isolated rooms just north of where we've been
4) look in the rooms east of where we've been.
What about marching order? Without putting too much thought into it, I suggest that Hrav goes first (high perception and reflex) followed by Kauldron, Quagmire, Dang't, Girth, Beyrk.
