(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)

Sometime during dinner, Sebastian will address the group. "Being that we are strangers in a strange town I suggest we set some kind of watch. Now that we do not have the protection of the griffons and their riders we need to be more aware. I'll be willing to take a watch anytime during the night as the night is actually my prefered time to be awake. Anyone else?"

When the group retires to the rooms Sebastian will take the room to the left of Sara's. He will also check out the access from outside via windows or balcony's being these are the areas he would exploit, and he likes to have a option on what way he leaves a room if possible.

Llolian will take the room w/ Sebastian, and passes on what he heard to anyone in the room.

Well Iggy, I'll share the room with you, if you don't have any objections. I do not snore, well, not to my knowledge.

With that remark he grins, takes a zip of his drink and puts his stuff in his room.

OOC: sara has taken a bed in one of the two large rooms if that wasn't clear. There are probably enough for everyone in those two rooms, though if someone wants the private room they could take it.

"I can stay up a little late and watch the first few hours." Sara comments. She sits up for a while cleaning and repainting her armor and slowly and quietly moving her cot closer to Iggy's. If Iggy ever seems to be awake, she will talk to him about the group's chances...

"Oh dear. You suspect danger already, eh? If this theft is an inside job, as I fear, then they would probably know about us. If the rooms are large enough, then I think we should all sleep in one room. I'll generally awaken pretty early in the morning to study my spells. I have none to study at the moment, since I used none today, so I'll wake up early anyway & take the last watch."

Iggy pretends not to notice Sara moved her bed closer. Blushing, he pretends to sleep, claiming his early shift as an excuse to close his eyes and lay in bed. He does slip his dagger under his pillow.

[Finally, Thebis-Ra is approved once again, and so I'll rejoin the conversation once more ... yay! ]

I don't really need much sleep, but I would like to get some sleep first, so if someone would wake me after about four and a half hour, I can stay awake the rest of the night.

[I'll stay in the middle bedroom.]

"So it sounds like Sara will take the first few hours, then I'll take several hours until Thebis-Ra has had his needed sleep and Iggy will join him for the last few hours. With others joining where ever they like, if they wish. Does this sound ok to everyone?" Sebastian looks around at the others as they go up to the rooms.

"I need hardly any sleep at all. I'll be up, if anybody needs rest."

Llolian always tries to sleep the first half of the night, and be up the rest (assuming this is one of the "elves don't sleep much" worlds).

The companions soon find sleep has found them all.

OOC: Elves need 4 hours of sleep to equate to 8 hours for a human. Now I know that I read this somewhere, but can not find it now (nor have I really looked), so if someone knows differently, and can reference it, please let me know. THanks. Oh, and sorry for the delay.

Every one decides to stay in the middle room, though there are three door entries and one window, though they are on the second level, and the window overlooks the cliff to the city below, some 700 feet down.

On Sara's watch, near the end of it, something seems out of place.

Sara looks around but does not see anything, but a minute later, hears Iggy scream and hit the floor! To her surprise, there are two of him there, picking them selves off the floor! Everyone else is waken from the impact and yell from Iggy... or at least one of him.

Iggy: You wake, as you are pushed from the bed and hit the floor. With reflexive action, your fingers curl around the dagger under the pillow before you leave the bed, so that when you stand, you have it at the ready... but when you look to see who pushed you... your think at first you must be confused and face a mirror, for there you are, standing exactly on the oposite side of the bed!

"Hey, um, careful guys! This is me here!" Then he mutters to himself. "They never prepared us for this at the wizard acadamy" Then again, more loudly. "Don't let him attack me!"
