I don't think you need to worry - once a week is enough for this game. :)

OOC: Hey, I've been busy! Leave me alone!

THe door opens and guards are shown inside by a servent or student. Thebis-Ra watches and waits a minute until the door closes againa nd then goes to the door with Serene following. He knocks himself, and after about a five minute wait (and many knocks later) the same servent (or student) comes to the door and asks "Yes?"

Meanwhile, at the Judges house, he shakes his head at Llolian with a smile on his face when a flash of light appears in the room, and there in the mids of the surprised guards is an image of Mithreander, who looks at the justice. "Of course I'm alright! Let these people go! They are on my business and need their freedom to persue my course." The image turns to the group (and seems to focus on the paladin).

"The Doppleganger, for that is what it was, has taken the device I had given to you to the slums. Becareful in retreiving it. It is guarded. Do you need help, or do you think that you can handle this?" Mithreander looks distracted for a second as the paladin answers.

Back at the tower, the servant leads the two adventures up to the control room once more, and, passing the two guards ontheir way out, is let into the room. Once more, the room resembles more of a forest then a room, vines and marble callums line where the walls may have been, the floor soft and cutioned with fallen leaves and needles. There, at a table, sitting down, is Mithreander. He turns to face you and distractedly says "Your friends are to be released. The creature you had faced was a Doppleganger. I can not say for sure where he is, but the itemfinder that I gave you is in the SLums. Be careful, it's sure to be guarded, and be quick! If he's working with the thieves then he may be planning on leaving soon so as not to give you access to them. Hold on a minute." he says at last, holding up a too skinny hand, the light shining through it so that the outlines of his bones are silloetted in the light.

Back at the Justice' home, Mithreanders image seems to turn it's complete attention back to the paladin for an answer.

Iggy

Iggy pipes up, "Mithreander, sir, can you give us any advice on how to find it in the slums? Or how to recognize & fight such a creature?"

OOC: Just a note to say I'm enjoying this adventure, regardless of the somewhat erratic pace. (It's not as erratic as some of the other games I'm in!) I'm fascinated by the plot and am enjoying the other PCs. Keep up the good work, Mithreander

Lord Mithreander, I am very sure my friends and myself will be able to retrieve it, once we know where to look for your device. And of course, how can we recognise the Doppleganger as it can change into any shape it wants to?
The last piece of help will have to come from the Justice, by releasing us.

Rogier looks at the Justice with a 'I-told-you-so' look, and waits for any useful information Mithreander might have.

Mithreander pauses and his image says "I can give the location of the key to your companions that are here with me now. It seems have stayed in one place since I've started to watch it. As for the Doppleganger, well I'd say you'd have to use your wits, for there is no real way to break their disguise. If you have wounded it, it may still be wounded. Otherwise it may be imposible. Eitherway the doppleganger is secondary to the item. Retreive the item, and hopefully it will be with the doppleganger."

The real Mithreander faces Serens and THebis-Ra. "Here." he hands them a piece of paper with a map on it. On the map is a dot. "The dot shows where the item is. Go get your friends and retreive it." He then seems to be distracted once more.

In the Justices house, the image seem to break from thought and says "I have given your friends a map to locat ethe item. I'll want it back." He then turns to the Justice. "They are free to go?"

The justice bows to him and says "Thank you for the lovely visit. Now if you'll excuse me, I have soe sleep to catch up on." WIth that, he leaves, telling the servent to 'see them out'.

The servent motions to the from door with a bow and the guards return the characters weapons.

Iggy

"OK. Thank you sir." says Iggy to the Judge & Mithreander's disapearing image. Now, back to work."

Iggy heads outside with the rest to await the rest of the group.

Both Mithreander and his image says to the adventurers "They will meet you at the inn." With that, the image fades.
OOC: Assuming that everyone goes to the inn

In about 30 minutes, everyone is in the front of the inn and ready to continue to the slums. Heading back down to the city below, they follow the map to where the slums are located. Here too the streets are lined with continual light spells, though it seems that quite a few of them had been taken for other means. The houses and buildings are all bared or barecaded shut with boards. In the streets goblins, orcs and half-orcs mix equally with the humans, seeming to move ina hunched manner.

In their imediate view, the adventures count at least 3 fist fights and a knife fight in progress, most of the participants look drunk, except for the knife fight, which seems to be over a bag that one of them is holding.

Everyone except the paladin notes watchers on the roof tops looking down on the streets below. The steets are rather narrow, only wide enough for two people to fight next to eachother efectively. The buildings are built directly on the streets, not alowing enough space for a wagon to travel down the street without forcing the pedestrians off the street. Though looking at the muddy street, it does not look like there has been much horse trafic on the road.

From above, the characters hear some muttering. Looking up, they see someone emptying their bedpan out of their window. Jumping out of the way, it nearowly misses them.
