(Adventure) Rivenblight's Castaway [Creamsteak judging]

You make your way through the city and back to the Inn.

At this point, you can either pop over to the Tavern thread for as much or as little time as you wish, or we can simply say "You come, you see, you eat," and go to the next morning.

OoC: Well, I'm for heading on... however, since Sparky isn't with us at the moment, I don't really see an issue with us hopping over to the Dragon thread until he returns.

ooc: back but in need of sleep. and an extra couple of hours in the day. I'll keep an eye on things and pick up when we pick it up here again.

Jaan awakes early the next day and gets some breakfast. He checks in on the gnome if they are at the the Red Dragon tavern. Also, if there is some space for it, he will spend some time getting used to the crossbow.

If the others are not up by nine bells, he heads off to wake them.

Troi kicks himself awake early in the morning, falling out of bed to help the process. He heads down to the bar and gets a mug of something warm to help him wake up.

When finished, he heads back up to his room, collects his things, cleans himself up a little, and returns to the common room. Once there, he entertains himself by practicing with his whip, striking the dart-board with it.

Ioleta stirs bright and early. Well, she thought it was early. Troi and Jaan are up already by the time her distinctive gait on the stairs is heard. She joins the others at a quiet table listening to the sounds of the city outside the Inn as the day's activity begins in earnest.

After a hearty breakfast she orders a steaming mug of tea and, cradling it, still a little bleary-eyed, she stands a safe distance from the dart boards watching Troi with her wide blue eyes.

"You're quite the crack shot, Troi. Can you teach me?" There might have been a pun there, but, really, it sounds more like genuine admiration.

Velbrik awakes to the sound of breakfast being served beneath him. He gathers his things and proceeds downstairs to the common room. Sitting down at the bar, he drops his gear and orders a plate of pancakes.

When they arrive, he begins wolfing them down, and between bites, he asks, "Should we head over now, then, or do a bit of planning first?"

Ioleta
"You're quite the crack shot, Troi. Can you teach me?"

Troi pauses, and looks to the young woman. He considers her for a moment before speaking.

"Maybe. Dunno... ya gotta be good with a whip first, an' that's difficult as is. I've been practicin' fer a long time with a whip... it doesn't come easy. But you get yerself a whip, an' prove ta me that ya got an idea a what yer doin'... I'll teach ya what I know, if I can."

Velbrik
"Should we head over now, then, or do a bit of planning first?"

Troi shrugs, takes a last crack at the dart-board, then coils up his whip. "Dunno, man. I think we got everythin' planned out as best as we're gonna get... sometimes ya just gotta take things as they come, y'know?"

"I agree with Troi basically"

Jaan stands by the door, having arrived just long enough ago to catch the end of the conversation.

"Unless anyone has any particularly unusual ideas about how to do this, we might as well play it as we find it."

Jaan
"Unless anyone has any particularly unusual ideas about how to do this, we might as well play it as we find it."

Troi shakes his head. "Nope, none. I s'pose we should get goin'... ain't gonna get any easier if we wait."
