Ioleta just barely keeps herself from sighing audibly... Holy smokes... I'm beginning to think Jaan was right. We should have been straight with Tylkin. She moves left with Troi, eyes scanning the underbrush and the canopy, ready to protect the merchant or the huntsman. She glances at the back of Tylkin's head as she takes her position. He's really not half bad as Daggreth said. I hope he doesn't get hurt.
Scanning the brush again, Ioleta gently says, "You might want to get down, Tylkin. This could be bad."
And then even more quietly to Troi, "I know I said I'm no great shakes in toe-to-toe combat, but, uh, if I can catch one of them unawares... well, that's my best bet. But we can't leave the wagon if the others are going to go close. What do you want to do?" She speaks quietly, quickly and with as much clarity as Troi has ever heard her speak. When it's down to brass tacks, the girl doesn't fool around.
OOC: Of course, as soon as we enter combat I'm going out of town. Figures. I'll post if at all possible, but Tues-Saturday (at the earliest) I will most likely be incommunicado. Troi (or TH), feel free to run Ioleta. She's earnest about protecting the wagon and Tylkin, but also about sticking to Jaan's stated plan - working in a pair with Troi. She has three daggers to throw if needed and a short sword. She'll resort to Troi's longbow if needed, but her chances of hitting are rather poor (-2). Her preference would be to disappear and flank with the intention of doing sneak attacks (while fighting defensively), though if the assailants are at range that wouldn't quite be possible.
