[SBLOCK=OOC]By the way, there is enough cover in the room to stay hidden for anyone outside the room, not talking that there is parts of the room where you just have no line of sight.

But at start, the room have only one source of light, the fire, but it gives only dim light to the room, so everyone inside have concealment to your best Perception guy. But Gog is only 2 points behind Radtash, so that's not a big deal.

In other word, the wall only hinder you from entering and putting yourself in a better position to reduce the chance of cover for the kenku.

And for the specter, he has turned invisible, that was just obvious.

If people haven't post by the end of the day, I'll assume they keep there ready action. Only Arkavas have acted and given +1 to hit to everyone. (and kill another tribal)[/SBLOCK]

"Too dark, yep yep yep," Sweetness complained. "No good for fighting, and bird-men aren't going to come out..." The gnoll gave a low whine, then pitched her everburning torch into the room. As the light expanded a bit, Sweetness crouched forward, ready to spring...

OOC: Toss Everburning torch into room, aiming for about D 6 (just past the fire pit). Not sure what kind of action that would be- it isn't an attack, nor a simple drop item. If it isn't a standard action, then Ready an attack against the first kenku to become visible (Disheartening strike +12 vs. AC)

[SBLOCK="Targeting what you can't see reference"]I am bored today, so I looked up all the relevant references. See "Targeting what you can't see" on page 281 of the player's manual. For creatures you cannot see, beating their regular stealth check reveals their general direction, and beating their stealth check + 10 reveals their exact location.

Radtash rolled a 26 perception check, so the monsters would only need a stealth check of 16 to remain hidden. Also, more than ten squares of distance would add a -2 to Radtash's perception check.

Even if we could learn the monster's locations, our ranged attacks would still take a -5 to hit (except area attacks), since we cannot see them.

Also, the "Obscured Terrain" box on page 61 of the Dungeon Master's Guide states:
You can see through lightly obscured squares, but take a -5 penalty to Perception checks to see or spot things.
Concealment: a creature has total concealment against you if 5 or more lightly obscured squares stand between you and it (including the nearest square of the creature’s space). Closer creatures have concealment, but not total concealment.

I hope this is useful, and not annoying rule lawyering.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Thanks for that Impact. All I have to say, it is nothing have change... or maybe yes, you have less chance than I thought to see them for now ;) That last kille kenku should have stay hidden with that -5 penalty to Perception. [/SBLOCK]

"I'm not normally a fan of brute-force approaches..." Narvala says. "However, in this case..."

She steps up, everburning torch in one hand, staff in the other, and begins systematicly blasting every square in the room with holy fire.

[sblock=ooc]
Move to I6, then attack H11 with Grasping Shards. She'll follow that with attacking E11, then B11, then H8, then E8, then B8, etc. until she sees a target or she's blasted the entire room.

Let me know if I should make an attack roll.
[/sblock]

Narvala enter the room and as she turn the corner, she see a creepier ghostly figure which is not the one the team have seen previously.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Map Updated The small red flame is where the light source is now.

Narvala have spend 3 square of movement when she have spotted the Wraith. She has 3 squares left for this Move action and still get her Standard and Minor actions.

Arkavras, Radtash, Gogmorthak and Sweetness have all spend there turn. Radtash and Gogmorthak have both readied action. For Sweetness, throwing the light source, I consider it a standard action, a basic ranged attack with automatic hit.

Tinwe didn't state anything for Gruff, so I'm ok for them to still act. As Tinwe have been inactive for long, you can suggest action, even using encounter or Daily, as long as it is reasonable (so no suicidal action).

I'll wait for tomorrow to finish the turn, unless I have Tinwe and Drothgery completing there actions.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Status]Arkavras 13/41 [6], Bloodied

"There is another undead creature in here." She says when she sees the wraith. Narvala backs up, and then tosses a blast of radiant energy at the wraith and forces it back with the Flame's power.

[sblock=ooc]
Since she knows there are at least two undead around, she wants to hold off with Rebuke Undead until she can hit multiple targets with it.

Continue move to I3. Then attack with Sun Strike.

Sun Strike (1d20+9=25, 1d8+7=10) 25 vs. Ref will HIT for 10 radiant damage (+5 due to vulnerable 5 radiant), and slide the wraith back to I11.

[sblock=OOC]Hey all.
Sorry I've been inactive. I've been sacked with work to do over the last few days. I should be getting back into the swing of it shortly. In the meantime, feel free to rp Gruff as needed to move things along. I know how PbP can be frustrating when people don't post, and I never mind someone else taking the reins when necessary.[/sblock]

Gruff takes a quick step inside the room, glances at the wraith Narvala spotted, and a jolt of lightning wraps around the undead.
[sblock=Mechanics]
Move: I9
Minor: Mark Wraith with Aegis of Ensnarement
Standard: Lightning Lure on wraith: 1d20+5=12, 1d6+6=7

Most likely a miss. I added the wrong mod, though- it should be +7 not +5, for a total of 14 vs. Fort. :([/sblock]

[sblock=Narvala] Did you slide him to I11 for a reason? If you slide him next to the Caustic Rampart, he takes damage when he starts his turn [/sblock]
