The brute again catches up with the rest of the whoresons, but this time remains behind two other whoresons to have some cover from Cedric's arrows.

Cedric shoots a third arrow at the brute, but misses badly
(roll 7, +3 attack bonus, +1 inspire courage)

Rainca is up

Ongoing effects - Inspire Courage +1 - 2/5 rounds.

Rainca (Rage Round 1, charging) HP 22, AC 8

A tiny part of Rainca is relieved to finally be entering her holy rage, to finally submit herself to the will of her god. The rest of her is bent on destruction and doesn't spare anything as frivilous as thought for the subtlety of spiritual release. This part lets out a savage snarl and then charges straight for the Brute, axe rising, screaming her throat raw as she runs.

OOC: Chaaaarge! Rainca will Overrun whoever is directly between her and The Brute attacking The Brute at the end of her charge. If this is not possible (not because she failed in her Overrun attempt, but because she has to get through more than one person) she will charge and attack the poor unfortunate who's closest and carve a bloody path to The Brute.

Attack with Battle Axe +8 (+4 STR, +2 Charge, +1 BAB, +1 Inspire Courage)

Rage 1/day lasts for 7 rounds:
+4 to Str (18 +4)
+4 Con (19 +4)
+2 Morale bonus to Will saves
-2 to AC (typically down to 10)
+2 to HP (max HP 22)

Charge
-2 AC (now down to 8! Gosh I need better armor)
+2 on Overrun attempt DC (with her +4 STR for raging... poor poor target)

(1-9 and x, y, z are the remaining whoresons. B is the Brute. s (and later t) is the scorpion. Everyone else is notified by their first letter. I anyone disagrees with the map position, speal up)

Rainca rushes forward to the brute who, in his attempts to avoid Cedric's arrows, left himself open for a charge, and only realizes his error as Rainca's axe drops down on him.

(attack roll 10, +8, total 18. A hit. damage roll 3, +4 Str, +1 courage- total 8. The brute has taken 13 points of damage so far).

The axe digs deep into the chest of Richard the Brute, who lets out a loud shout of pain. He staggers a bit, but remains on his feet, gravely wounded.

Gleeful that it is finally smashing time, Gath also charges the nearest whoreson (7), wildly swinging his glaive.

(attack roll of 1, +8 attack bonus, +2 charge, +1 courage, total 13)

However, he swings his glaive a bit too wild, and only cuts the whoreson's leather.

Dioran's seemingly insane summonings bring a second fiendish scorpion into being.

Dioran and his "pets" are up.

Dioran finishes another summoning incantation, positioning the scorpion so as to be able to charge whoreson #1, which it obediently does. How succesful it is remains to be seen. It will probably use its tail for the attack, just for the off chance it may actually get to poison someone.

The earlier scorpion will full attack the nearest whoreson (probably x), including a smite attempt (I fully expect this to be a waste, but it will use it none the less.) Living up to its fiendish nature, should an attack leave a whoreson disabled - with the scorpion still having attacks left - it will try to kill him before targetting others. At the end of Dioran's turn, it will vanish in a puff of smoke, leaving only the stink of brimstone.

You probably already have these, but still: Scorpion full attack - 2 claws +1 melee (1d3-1) and stinger -4 melee (1d3-1 plus poison). The smite, if at all useful and a hit, will deal an additional 1 point of damage. Feel free to be as underwhelmed as you wish.

After urging his disturbing pets to kill, and uttering a somewhat more subdued snicker, Dioran continues with yet another summoning spell.

The newly summoned scorpion charges at the nearest whoreson, and stings as it reaches him. However, it misses (attack roll 3, +2 charge, +1 attack bonus).

The other scorpion lashes out against whoreson x. (attack rolls 15+1 (16), 13+1 (14), 20+1-4 (17) (confirmation roll 12+1-4 (9) - no crit); damage 1, 1, 1; fails poison save and takes 2 points of Con Damage. x is at 0 hp and disabled)
The man pales and slumps, but is still moving.

<Scorpion s will vanish at Dioran's next init count.>

Whoreson actions coming later.

Whoreson 1 attacks the scorpion t with his short sword, but misses. 2 and 3 both move forward to attack it as well, and unlike their companion, hit. (2 - 2 damage, 3 - 5 damage, total of 7 damage)
The scorpion drops, then vanishes in a puff of smoke.

4 and 6 step into the combat between Richard and Rainca. 4 swings, but his sword only cuts through the air, while 6 manages to hit the raging warrior with his club, dealing 2 points of damage. Whoreson 5, in the meantime, seeing Richard nearly dropped and the attention of the others on Rainca, decides that he is better off trusting his legs than his weapons, and runs off into the darkness.

7, 8 and 9 turn their attention to Gath, but only 9 manages to hit the half-orc with her club, for 4 points of damage, though that doesn't faze Gath too much.

x takes a single step backwards, signalling z and y to finish the beast off. This time, z manages to hit the creature, dealing 4 points of damage with her club.

Lupic is up

(Thinking about it, it might be possible, though I'm still sceptic. But I'll allow it in the interest of moving forward).

Lupic rushes forward, attempting to grab the brute (receives no AoO due to Lupics Imp Grapple feat; Luipc makes melee touch attack - roll 10, bonus +7, charge +2, total 19; Lupic grapple roll 5, +4 feat, + 5 Str; Brute grapple check total 5 - success for Lupic; damage roll 1, +5 for a total of 6), and as Lupic grabs and tackles the bandit, Richard passes out (I'd like to know if you wanted to deal subdual or normal damage).

Joseph, forgoing his typical stealth, charges at whoreson 9 (attack roll 12, +3 bonus, +2 charge, total 17 - a hit, deals 11 damage), and his greatsword cleaves right through the woman's neck, killing her instantly. (No cleave attempt possible)

The brute is unfit for action.

Cedric shoots two arrows at whoreson 3, but none of them connect.

Rainca is up.

Rainca growls at Lupic as he tackles her prey, knuckles whitening as she pants and bares her teeth at the spiked warrior. Mine! Her eyes narrow dangerously when a flash of movement catches her eye. Her nostrils flare.

"None flee Rainca!" The woman's hoarse roar turns into an animal howl as she leaps over the fallen brute and nearly climbs over the man between her and the fleeing target.

OOC: Overrun 6 and chase down 5. As much movement as she needs, I can't quite read scale, if there's action enough for an attack she'll take it. Bring on the AoOs!
